Federal News Wires:
-The Blades of Conquest and The Great British Empire declare war on member region CTU. In reaction to this a few members of the House of Commons moves to declare war on those to regions, and all members of the said body prepare to mobilize.
-Charter of The Federated States passes.
-The Federation expands to represent over 160 nations.
-Activity on the forums swells from a few posts a day to over 70 a day.

We have established a defender/liberater region called "Federal Defense Forces." Besides the two mentioned purposes we also plan on shutting down any invader region without a founder. The region is recruited for seperate from the other federal regions.

Quite simply to keep them from invading again. We will not leave the region, we will give it a password something like this: ATYHKJDOIUSDHLKJASHFDOSHCKjh1867019437, then we will put nation entitled "Federal PA [instert some number]." This will keep the region from being refounded.
Now, we realize that when we take these regions some, possibly the majority, of the players in them will go to another region, but some won't. Nearly 100% of the grunts of invaders are just n00bs who don't particularly care one way or another, they will in all probability just die off or quit invading. And as grunts make up the majority of a region, and the majority of them will quit invading, we will be, in our opinion, hurting invaders.
Now, we realize that when we take these regions some, possibly the majority, of the players in them will go to another region, but some won't. Nearly 100% of the grunts of invaders are just n00bs who don't particularly care one way or another, they will in all probability just die off or quit invading. And as grunts make up the majority of a region, and the majority of them will quit invading, we will be, in our opinion, hurting invaders.

Member region "The Stronghold" invaded by well established AC troops. We would appreciate any UN nations you fellows could spare. The battle is close, but ehy are winning. They are kicking defenders, and as our defender org just started and most of the nations in it haven't been trained, it will take us a whole day before we can move in the kicked members.
What the bloody heck happened is what I want to know. Quite suddenly all the invader orgs are out to get us.

Gee, I don't know, maybe your program outlined three posts up (on a publicly viewable forum) bothered them.
Presumably because you seem intent on shutting down their regions. As a former defender myself, it was the attitude that believed defenders to be morally superior to invaders and that invaders were callous, spiteful creatures who should be spurned and defeated at all cost that I felt from certain sectors that caused me to leave that part of the game.
It's not a war, it's more like NS Soccer. Legitimate invaders, successful invaders, do not go out of their way to harm regions, and often do little other than put up a "taken by [blah]" type thing in the WFE. Shutting down their regions (which is really not very effective anyway) is, in my opinion, not a very sporting thing to do.

Oh we realize its just a game. We aren't really morally supierior anyway, we lost that when we decided to take out their regions. Which you we did more as an activity booster than anything else...so we lost that. And the other defense programs are common sense.
And no, its not the programs. Both of the attacks have been in the works for a while. one of them for over three, before the region was even a member. We were being unwary and failed to catch them.

After the BoC reported a spam offense by our founder's puppet nation, the first offense he had ever made, his nation was deleted. Presumably BoC lied or exaggerated the offense, as the mods seem to have gone all out on this, especially for a first time offender. Another supporting factor is that only the nations the BoC knew existed were deleted.
At any rate, BoC was fully aware that the founder was going to be deleted, furthering the theory that they have lied or exagerated, and moved into both regions literally seconds after the founder was deleted. Thanks to the efforts of The Young World and Zurich, Federal Defense Forces was spared capture by the BoC, and may we express our immense gratitude to those two forces. The only nations in of The Federated States who were online at the time were the founder, in a puppet that BoC didn't know existed, and Upscale Cruises, Minister of Internal Affairs.
The Federal District would have withstood the invasion, judging from the fact that we have more than 6 UN nations, the number the enemy has at the moment, but for the fact that all but three of the UN nations had recently been engaged in operations in Poland, Allah Empire, and The Stronghold.
Czechisland, the delegate just before the invasion was suspected to be in cahoots with the enemy. Unfortunately, we did not act before they arrived.
