Yes, I have decided to seek another term as a member of the Security Council.
The circumstances that led to my reduced access to the net in May are nearly resolved, and even with those circumstances, I have been checking various TNP forums, especially the SC and the RA and the Mod/Admin forums on my daily visits,
If there have been problems in getting the SC to act, it cannot be laid at my fingers; I've been here just about daily even in spite of the RL issues I've been contending with. But the SC is not and was never intended to initiate government action, it is intended to serve as the check and balance on the delegate and the government's decisions to take action when necessary that involve regional security.
This imposes a duty on the Delegate, Vice Delegate and the Cabinet Ministers to keep the SC membership informed by all available means so that the SC can do its jon when required.
If re-elected, I will continue to maintain my practice of viligant attention to those matters that concern the SC, and will continue to argue for an efficient procedure within the government that will allow the SC, as a special committee of the RA, to act in a timely manner.
I have enjoyed my service as a member of the Security Council and look forward to continue that service if I am re-elected.
