Isn't it time that the UN delegacy had some fresh blood...
Someone with a daring perspective...
The Delegacy is a complicated juggling act....greeting and advising new arrivals...voting in the UN...dealing with other regions...maintaining our regional integrity and security....protecting our region...following the constitution...
I will be the freindly face that greets new nations..both on the RMB and in TGs...but also afterwards maintaining a relationship with all the nations in TNP...both on forum and off...
I will do my utmost to respect the views of the regions UN nations to UN proposals and to represent those views in my voting...
I recognise the delegacy is not only a link between the region and the UN....it is also our public face in nationstates...and as such an approachable yet strong delegate is needed...
I will hold the position of delegate with the same high regard and professionalism I have come to expect from the current holder....
I will protect our region both diplomaticly and militarily if needs be...I have shown my tenacity and proven my mettle in defending regions with NPA...
I will uphold the tenets of the constitution as fully as is possible...
I will follow the laws of TNP to the letter...
I will not deny I have made mistakes in my short NS lifetime...and as seen I am quick to admit my faults as and when they have come up...
As we have discovered recently self sacrifice is sometimes the best step in protecting our region..By that I mean the astonishing acts of courage by our current delegate who ejected people knowing her own position was at risk preferring instead to look after her region than her own position of power...
I will attempt to act as delegate with the same courage and nobility displayed by Former English Colonies...

I am open to any questions....please post in this thread and I will answer to the best of my abilities...

Remember.....Daimiaen for delegate.....It's got a nice ring to it....
 
I do believe I've already endorsed you...hm, I'll have to look into that...

Anyway, Daim, I am backing you on this. No offense to Mum, but I know you more, what with working in the NPA. You shall make a fine Delegate.

Given the recent allegations of espionage on your part, do you feel you'll be able to serve as an effective envoy for the region?

Firstly I would like to publicly state that I have no link with the NPIA....There was a time I toyed with the idea of playing at spies....and discovered quite quickly that it was an aspect of NS that holds no appeal to me....I leave it to people with the experience inclination and skill to carry it off.....

Secondly considering the allegations you refer to came from the Lexicon...with whom we are currently at war...I'm not sure how credible they will be to any other Region to which I will be an envoy...
I'm fairly sure the allegations will go the way of much of the current Lexicon propaganda...into the misty swathes of the past...while TNP steps forward into the bright future of Possibility....
 
Given that in your NS history, you have had several nations kicked out for UN Multiing, what assurances do you have that this will *not* happen again? TNP can not afford to have it's delegate kicked out of the UN.

Also, what will you do to ensure the peace in TNP? Are you willing to act diplomatically to those you may not agree with? Especially the many that, regardless of our Constitution, see the delegate as the head/leader of the region?

To your first point may I say....at the time I was naieve and very new to the game....and in my defence the incident refered to did occur after a silly nightclub til 4 in the morning thing and was born out of confusion rather than malice....and I immediately learnt my lesson...in fact two lessons.....the Mods are very sharp at what they do....and....never log in when drunk or hungover.....
I can assure you that since then and for the foreseeable future I have no interest in UN Multiing...principally and rather obviously because it is against the rules and also because I do not really see how it would be of any real value....

To your second enquiry....I would do whatever it takes to ensure peace in TNP....As Delegate the only way I can see of dealing with people who do not agree with me is diplomatically....and those that do not understand our constitution and those who deliberately misinterpret it for their own ends will be gently advised by myself on behalf of TNP as to where this region stands on any issue....
 
How do you feel about the fact that the Lexicon have already created a nation called "unendorse GBM" but have not bothered to create "Unendorse MGT" or "Unendorse Daimiaena"?

I think it's quite interesting that the Lexicon should so openly make a display of support for my Delegacy campaign in this way and for that reason I thank them....
