Bonnaroo Music Festival

One of my co-workers bought tickets to the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival (June 16-18 in Manchester, TN), but unfortunately for her, one of those friends got a nasty DUI charge and suddenly can't go. Worse still, she refuses to pay for the ticket she is no longer able to use. As a result, my co-worker has a more-or-less useless ticket she has to get rid of so she doesn't lose a ton of cash.

I personally have no idea what this festival is, but my co-worker says that it equates to Woodstock in Tennessee. If anyone is at all interested in this sort of thing, please let me know so I can tell my co-worker.

Again, the festival is in Manchester, Tennessee on June 16-18. It's a general admission ticket that cost my co-worker US$184.50 (although she is willing to accept about $150 for it), and what I'm assuming is the seat number is listed as "This: GA 205, That: 8, Other: 20". Thanks.

Edit: For more info about the festival, go to www.bonnaroo.com

Bonnaroo isn't an indoors venue. It's an outdoors-in-the-rain-and-mud venue. For the most part, the only seats you get are the ones you bring, or make out of mud, which is an absolutely delightful activity.

Yes, your friend is correct, it is a bit like Woodstock in Tennessee. Less electric kool-aid that gets you sick, and less people burning shit down, but the mud people still show up.

I am interested, but as I originally didn't plan on going this year I'll have to check my schedule, so if you get impatient don't wait up for me. For other people reading this thread, even if you don't think you'd be interested you should go anyway because you're liable to experience something awesome.

Wow, not only a response, but one within five minutes. That I really wasn't expecting.

It's an outdoors-in-the-rain-and-mud venue.

Yes, um, the ticket she had did quite clearly say "Rain or Shine". So bring an umbrella.
