Resigning as MoC

mmmm... this is rather silly. If you wanted to resign, you should have just resigned and have the PM choose a successor, as opposed to choosing someone that will be driving off to college in under 2 days.
 
I will be absent for a few days but will be back ready to take the reigns :P

EDIT: So by that I mean that I am willing to postpone retirement, in TNP at least.

Oh, I thought elections had to be held for the successor. I figured this way, John Ashcroft Land could pick a deputy and save everyone the trouble.

Gren, I am really sorry you have to resign. I thought you had some interesting ideas in your election thread, and would have enjoyed seeing you fulfill them.

Sorry to hear this, Gren. You've done a pretty good job so far - heck, you actually worked on your campaign promises :o - but it's up to you.

JAL, you are now the Minister of Communications. Please post your Oath of Office in my office, and choose a deputy, preferably before you leave for college.

Ummm... guys? Do we actually have a MoC now? I'm pretty sure JAL is driving cross country at the moment, is he MoC? Is GBM deputy?

(I ask because there are forum ad requests waiting......)
 
At least GBM hasn't taken her oath of office, so I think she is not (yet?). Could our Prime Minister perhaps point some able government official to keep this office working until we get JAL or his deputy here?
