I was chatting with Fergi on AIM today, and I suggested to him that he might get involved in TNP, since we were clearly the best Feeder to be around at the moment.

He was quite interested, but wanted me to see first if anyone had any objections, given his past run-ins with Gatesville etc.
 
Could you explain his "past run-ins with Gatesville" please?

I have no problems, just I would like to know what these run-ins are...
 
To be honest, I have not got much idea. I do not keep up with much politics apart from TNP and TWP. But I think he was accused of something (spying?) and was chucked out, or left, or something.
 
If they keep their nose clean, doesn't try to sow the seeds of insurrection (when haven't we all), and is an all arround good person, I have no problem...
