As you'll recall from your days as minister of external affairs, keeping diplomats active and involved is a difficult task. I used to nag people for reports and such things in my early days as head of the diplomatic corps. After about a month of that, I just made myself ambassador to everywhere and did the work myself.

I believe everyone should be given an opportunity to contribute to the North Pacific, but if people don't avail themselves of those opportunities, I don't think the region should grind to a halt either.

I felt my hands were tied by the constitution my last go 'round as minister here. The mixture of apathy and red tape is a foul-tasting brew.

If this was directed at me, I'm a former delegate and vice-delegate of the North Pacific, one time Minister of External Affairs and the original head of the NP diplomatic corps. I've been ambassador to Canada, England, Nasicournia, The South Pacific, The East Pacific, Australia, Juxtaposition X, The Meritocracy and Aberdeen, among others. I could go on, but I think you get the picture. ;)
