It's time to begin organizing the first Regional Summer Olympics! The first order of business is, of course, to find out who is hosting the games and will be in charge of all proceedings.
The host nation will be responsible for organizing registration of participants, medal design, event layout, determining and posting results, distributing medals, and probably other tasks as the need arises. Nations volunteering to be the host must be aware of these duties and able to carry them out in a timely manner (either by themselves or with the help of others, but remember, YOU signed up for this).
If you are willing to host the games, please bid for the position below. All bids are in TNP Dollars, the cash amount which you see next to each post. Nations may not bid more cash than they hold, in other words, you may not go into debt doing this. The nation which bids the most money will be declared the host nation, and that amount will be deducted from their cash balance. All proceeds will be donated to the Ministry of Arts and Entertainment in a separate account which they may use for official purposes.
To start things off, The United Federation of Hersfold will offer $100 for this honor.
