Line counting

Alright, I think it is time we settle this question: count spaces or not? I, for one, don't because it gets people on possible ban too easily. By the way: has anyone notified Londium yet? he has twenty-something lines.

Moving to MoC's Office where everything else is...

I think we generally don't count lines unless they're really excessive or they blatantly make fun of the line limit.

For example:

This is an ad for a region you should join.
Obviously ok.

This

is

an

ad

for

a

region

you

should

join.

Thanks.

No. Give them a warning.

Hi, I'm from some region in the middle of nowhere.

If you want to join, we've got a whole bunch of stuff you should like
such as this that and the other thing, what is that... oh shoot, I've
forgotten it. I'm a horrible recruiter. Oh well, if you want to join,
here's what to do:

Click on "The World"
Type "My Region" and click search regions
Click on "Move ______ to My Region now!"

It's a great place to live but I forget why. So come anyway.
These lines are just fillers because I've run out of things to say
in this highly pathetic example of a spam ad. If I really felt like
it, I could come up with more insults, but I don't. So there.

Oh, and your ad size limit is (censored) retarded.

17 lines with spaces. Usually would be ok, but they obviously knew about the rule and blatantly chose to ignore it. So stick it to 'em. And if they actually do curse in their ads, feel free to file a Getting Help report to the mods - that's one less recruiter to worry about.

That's how I've see it, and how I think others have reacted, but it's not exactly set in stone yet, no.

*Hersfold can't count. :P

I've been enforcing it fairly well (the sig limit); fortunately, it's not often someone goes over the limit and they're usually rather cooperative.
