Hi all,

I should have contacted all of you by now to confirm your current assignments. If I have missed anyone out please let me know, as it'll probably make my life a little easier. :D

I'd also like to apologise to all of you. Due to a combination of factors over the last couple of months, I feel you've been left of the back burner so to speak. I know Goal had several ideas up his sleeve (:huh:) that would have made you lives easier and jobs more rewarding. Unfortunately several events have delayed implementation of these. With luck, I hope to at least bring some of these into action before this term finishes.

For now, if you could keep your respective embassies upto date in regards any regional reports that are published, that would be great. I would also ask you to check the diplomatic infomation board, and make sure the info there on your regions is correct.

I'm also going to open a thread in this forum where you can express any ideas you might have on how things could be done better. Any things you'd like to see implemented, or changed please mention them.

I am available via PM as well if anyone has got any questions or queries or just wants to pester me (:P). I should reply within a day of you sending me one at the latest.

Forgot to say, some of the diplomatic info threads have fallen out of the 30 day limit, so don't forget to set the search to longer than that, when checking your info. :D

Know I'm not really supposed to post here, but if you guys need a longer limit set there, just let me know.

Also, I think we're going to make a foreign diplomats group soon (If anyone's seen that in the suggestion box), so if that does get formed, I'll need all of you to report who the ambassador is from your respective regions. Thanks.
 
The 30 day thing should be alright, worst comes to the worst they'll end up being two threads for a region, and I'll get a little power trip by getting rid of one. :D

As for the Foreign Envoy group, who qualifies? Ambassadors and consulate owners (tried and failed to come up with a better term) only? Or anyone representative of another region?
 
For right now, I've just thrown anyone in that group who:
  • Openly calls themselves an Ambassador from another region, or
  • Posted a notice from their home region within an Embassy/consulate in place of the ambassador,
  • And does not already hold a position here which requires another usergroup.
If that doesn't include somebody who you think should be in that group, (or vice versa), let me or Flem know. I'm not going to be too picky about it.

It should probably only be for the "official" representative of each region- just to make sure that if others from a region say something the fact that they are in a "foreign envoy" group might make it look like they are speaking on behalf of the region when they are not. If that makes any sense...
