I have resigned from the RA and will reapply when I have got things sorted out.

No offence, but that is the biggest pile of tosh I have ever heard. If we were taking dedicated members from the sinks using subterfuge then I'd agree but giving our members a reminder that their nation has CTEd is not poaching. Those nations wouldn't remain anyway!

I'm not saying it doesn't sound great on paper, but would we be able to field a regular enough number of voters to ensure this happens democratically? If I can be persuaded of that, then I have no objections to the proposals

So the real issue would be the court election cycle, I suppose. However I agree that having a staggered approach may provide some continuity to the courts. I am not convinced that irregular elections will work administratively.

I thought the point of having a deputy was that they would act-up as minister should one resign. Excuse my ignorance, but is there a good reason for that not being the case?
