    War Powers Act v2.0

The NPA doesn't necessarily have the "structural integrity" to be a very busy body, and until I can actually get in and start figuring out just what resources are still available I can't really accomplish much. What exactly the NPA ends up doing depends on what it can do, which I still don't...

    War Powers Act v2.0

Doesn't the RA already reserve that power? I don't think this really affects that. All it does is give the executive the power to conduct routine military operations. @Gross: Better?

    Oaths of Office

I, Heft, do hereby solemnly swear that during my duly appointed term as Minister of Defense of The North Pacific, I will uphold the ideals of Democracy, Freedom, and Justice of The Region of The North Pacific. I will use the powers and rights granted to me through The North Pacific Constitution...

    Military and Foreign Policy Amendment

"War" is generally mostly a political mechanism rather than a material one anyway. Defining a war in the context as defining what the NPA can and cannot do and what the Delegate can or can't do rather ignores the reality of the situation. Any region worth declaring war on will also most likely...

    Bill Proposal

Thank you, that's basically what I was trying to achieve. I don't think this law is particularly necessary. The only thing that might be necessary is that legally clarify this point. As I see it, RMB recruiters aren't TNP Nations and thus have no rights whatsoever.

Ohpah, I suppose I should have actually opened that thread.

    Military and Foreign Policy Amendment

I don't believe I ever said the RA shouldn't be able to force peace. I don't see how Clause 3 affects that.

    Military and Foreign Policy Amendment

We have a body that's seemingly sole purpose is to provide a check on the Executive's power, but we can't trust it? It's hardly a shadowy triumvirate when everything they do is open to public inquiry and they can be relatively easily removed if they abuse their power. I understand the need to...

    Expansion of VD Powers

I'm inclined to agree, just figured I would offer both options.

    Bill Proposal

The obvious solution is to just change every instance of "Nation" in the Bill of Rights to "Citizen."
