That's actually surprising, as NS population on the whole is slightly down in the last month, and the number of regions has gone up.

Unlike user-created regions, we can't exactly recruit. It makes sense then for the fun threads to get more posts. They are the ones more likely to bring people to the forum. The population rises and falls, but The North Pacific remains strong.

Pirates are definitely better. There are more of them, and they fight for the thrill of it all.

The mods did preview the questions, but Max hung around afterwards and answered a few from the crowd.
