    [Shelved] Expanding Recusal of Justices

I don't think it would any more than recusals currently are, considering the lower threshold and specific circumstances in which it would (or can) be used.

    [PASSED] Minor Military Loophole Fix

Alright. Good to know the court's able to make sane decisions. :D It's still an easily fixable oversight that creates an unfortunate loophole.

    [Shelved] Expanding Recusal of Justices

I think that a recall is a nuclear option that only gets trotted out in response to particularly egregious dereliction of duty. I also think that waiting for the next election does nothing to ensure that a specific given case is handled in an impartial manner. A justice may fail to recuse...

    [PASSED] Minor Military Loophole Fix

It's perfectly legal; that's the entire problem.

    [Shelved] Expanding Recusal of Justices

Agreed. I know I'm getting off topic, but if the court restricting the right to vote under certain conditions is sound, shouldn't the legal code restricting it under certain conditions be sound too? I'm not planning to add such a provision, just to be clear.

    [Shelved] Expanding Recusal of Justices

    [PASSED] Minor Military Loophole Fix

People's Liberation Army of the North. That way, we can say stuff like "It's all part of the PLAN."

    [PASSED] Minor Military Loophole Fix

While looking over section 7.6 of the legal code (the part regulating the NPA), I noticed a peculiar little loophole: the legal code doesn't actually say that the North Pacific Army is the region's military. It merely states that the "executive officer charged with military affairs will...

    [Shelved] Expanding Recusal of Justices

Split off from this bill because it doesn't exactly cover the same area anymore. At the moment, the only way to recuse a justice who refuses to recuse themselves despite a potential conflict of interest is for the other justices to vote to recuse them (or to sue the justice in question). This...

    [Shelved] Empowering Proactive Officeholding

After giving a bit of thought, I decided not to go back to the previous version of this bill, which only amended the legal code to expand the number of excepted positions (it felt messy and a little slimy to revert to a version that did essentially the same thing but with more words and a lower...

Greitbart and the Hunt for the Missing Endorsements

Greitbart: The Hunt for the Missing Endorsements Many things have gone missing since alleged citizen @St George (if that is his real name) was carried into the Delegate's office on a sedan chair: freedom, success, patriotism, rum, the de facto classification of RPers as second-class citizens...
