Since we are making the TNP planet not earth is it appropriate to use an earth religion for planet names? We could use a TNP players pantheon or we could come up with an entirely different naming system.

I am open to also adding in something related to Uranus/Neptune. There is a theory being studied that the gas giants protected the inner planets from space debris so having more of them might make some sense.

So we need names for the Ocean Planet, TNP Mars, TNP Saturn, Binary Planets, TNP Mercury, TNP Venus, and Greenland-Style Planet. We could also add names to the Asteroid Field, and Comets. And I believe for the TNP planet we are running with Pacifica, yes?

The Romans named the first five and they stuck in European languages. Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto took years to decide on. So our different cultures could have different names and we could work out which set works best.

We could always RP the naming of the planets. :P A scientific body would have to decide technically.

We could always name the planets after gods.

I enjoy Ceretis' ideas, especially the binary planet. And the planet names are very interesting.

I would be interested. And it is actually common to have more than one planet in the habitable zone. Mars for one would have been habitable at one point in time. It might be good to have another planet similar to our own but that has remained uninhabited.

I agree with Roman. Bernie stands no chance against the sheer support (and money) that Hillary commands. And the Republicans will annihilate each other in the primaries, effectively destroying any of their chances against Hillary.

I wouldn't say that it is any better to have a culture background. But it is something different from the norm. It doesn't specifically make me better but it does make me a more interesting choice.
