I think there is too much chance that the newly proposed laws will be used vindictively and we'll end up like The East Pacific where people just throw accusations against political rivals out of spite rather than real justice.

It's amusing that the person who has always told off new comers for "not being experienced enough" to run for office would now beg us to give new faces a shot.

Do to circumstances beyond my control, I am forced to withdraw my candidacy for Speaker. I wish the other candidates the best of luck.

A lot of these "new laws" seem so broad that there will absolutely be abuse. "Malfeasance" is massively subjective and largely undefined. "Intrusion" seemingly covers any sharing of any conversation between anyone, TNP or not. "Nonfeasance" makes something as simple as missing a soft deadline...
