Not to contest the results of the election (since it's obvious), but I'm curious why the number of valid ballots is 57, because 53 candidate votes + 8 abstain votes = 61 valid ballots, and there are no discounted ballots reported by the EC. Is this a mistake, or does the EC count valid ballots by some method that I don't know?

Looks to be a simple mistake. There are 61 valid ballots on the spreadsheet. I've corrected the error.
