Well, a lot of editions have been hosted by others too, especially those on the Council [62 editions were not all done by the nations you mentioned].

When I mention 'new blood', I mean new nations that are hopefully capable of hosting.

Hosts do find hosting to be a lot of thankless work and effort, that's why when I facilitate, I help the host as best as I can.

Yeah, I see your point. From what I've seen throughout my editions in here and from the one i hosted, hosts barely get any compliments for their work. Hosts have to do dispatches, graphics (which can be tricky), deal with wrong votes, recieve the songs and count the votes... The winners get much more compliments than the host...

but the worse thing has to be fixing votes after nations are DQed. That's horrible.

Also @Marcus Antonius appreciation ping, he's a fantastic facilitator. He gets the Greater Portugaliza Seal of Approval™
