I'm not sure it's so much me feeling tense as it is me seeing how tense quite a few people's interactions seem to have gotten. But maybe I'm reading too much into things.

I'm not sure it's so much me feeling tense as it is me seeing how tense quite a few people's interactions seem to have gotten. But maybe I'm reading too much into things.

For what it’s worth, I agree with you. I feel the bickering and interactions is unnecessarily reactive lately. But it is more so between certain individuals rather than the region as a whole - but I’ve noticed that in general since I’ve returned.

In terms of the general question, my view is that the region is struggling and a lot of the regional government seems pretty quiet and a bit siloed - ie doesn’t seem to connect much to the smaller communities within. It’s not entirely their fault either, I get it - it’s hard to recruit staffers and keep things active. But other than Halsoni’s activity, there seems to be quite a case of not much to see, or not much to share maybe.

I have seen this discussed on the discord too… and I understand the view is that things are harder now (though I feel we always say that). That might be the case but from my point of view, I’m not sure we’re giving it our all. I see September as an opportunity for reset and to consider who has the energy to carry us forward.
