Team NPA Scores Major Victory as CFO Takes to Ice

LONIA KREPTIA LLOR ARENA–The Magicality NPAers scored a major win against the El Wu Wolves on Monday, as old hands joined the team's new blood on the ice, our sports desk reports.

The game saw stunning plays from rookies–including @Ornge and @Foratunaminor, for whom this is their first pro game–as well as old hands (QuietDad scored a goal with his walker). But the most stunning moment of the night was no doubt when @Pallaith, the team's CFO, suddenly came on the ice and scored a goal. Said Pallaith in an interview with Toronto Sun journalist UPC, "That's it? I just picked up a stick and hit the puck towards the net. To be honest, it was a lot easier than I expected."

The final score was 22-14. The Wolves, who were heavily favoured at the beginning of the season to advance to the playoffs, are now seeing their path slip beyond reach. Meanwhile, the NPAers now seem set to play the Osiris Hawks in the first round. At the same time as the NPAers' upset victory, the Perdition Wardens defeated the Francograd Pacificans.

I’m very proud of the performance and turnout that the NPA brought to the liberation, and I’m proud that our region got to be part of history and am glad that I was able to assist in any way shape or form. I’m especially proud of the folks who dipped their toes into a new part of the game for them and tried to R/D for the first time - people like you are why operations like these thrive and are so successful. Here’s to more success in the future!

We won and had an amazing turnout for the NPA. Very proud of our soldiers who fought against pretentiousness. We fight not only to combat our enemies, but we also fight for good in general. Hail the NPA! Hail TNP!
