Confirmation of Nutmeg the Squirrel as Election Commissioner

Nothing that my term expires on the 17th of March, creating a vacancy,

I hereby appoint @Nutmeg The Squirrel to the Election Commission, subject to a confirmation vote by the Regional Assembly.

@Nutmeg The Squirrel has been appointed Election Commissioner by the Delegate. I hereby open the floor to debate and discussion on this matter. I invite the Delegate to give a statement in support of the nominee.

Should this reach a vote, I put the following motion before the Regional Assembly:

The Regional Assembly, acting upon the nomination of the Delegate, confirms Nutmeg The Squirrelto the Election Commission.

I've never counted votes in a TNP election, but I've been head of Vibonia's Election Commision since October of 2023, and I've also counted one Regional Assembly vote here in TNP.
I am absolutely available to both supervise and participate in EC discussions, I've got time on my hands.

Your activity levels in The North Pacific have had its ups and downs. How can you assure us you’ll be able to keep up with EC business when you can’t even post a WAA thread every once in awhile? Last time you did that was on March 4th when WAA cried out for help.

Your activity levels in The North Pacific have had its ups and downs. How can you assure us you’ll be able to keep up with EC business when you can’t even post a WAA thread every once in awhile? Last time you did that was on March 4th when WAA cried out for help.

EC business does not require me to be constantly active every day of the week, so I can assure you that when it comes time for me to participate in said business, I will be available and ready. My activity in regards to MoWAA threads dipped due to my entering into the election, which is something that won't happen if I was supervising.

Nutmeg has performed admirably while serving in her various roles in the region, namely as Minister of Culture and Deputy Minister in World Assembly Affairs and Home Affairs. She has shown considerable interest in learning our regional laws, and as such I believe that she would be a good fit for the Election Commission.
