Deputy Speaker Schedule
As promised in my election program, I have created a schedule in which every member of the Speaker's Office will have their designated days on which they preform routine tasks. I now present the following schedule:
MondayTuesdayWednesdayThursdayFridaySaturdaySunday
Prov (Lead) and VapiaMatzerati (lead) and VapiaMatzerati (lead) and VapiaMatzerati (lead) and ProvGriddyland and Matzerati (lead)Matzerati (lead) and NoscarCloud (lead) and Prov
A few notes on this schedule:
  • 'Lead' is for the most experienced member that day, they will guide the lesser experience member if necessary.
  • This Scheduling is mostly aimed to give all Deputies the abillity to conduct tasks, and therefore get more experienced. Therefore it is not as tightly regulated as it seems.
  • This Schedule can always change on request. I will edit this post if a change happens.

Closing Address, January 2025
It has now been a little more than 1,5 months since I was elected Speaker following Arafuttio’s resignation, and I think we can look back on a pretty successful end of the term.

We managed to complete pretty much all of the remaining Speaker’s Guides, a project that had dragged on for the last 2 years. We also managed to successfully revive the RA Digests, with 3 editions being released throughout the remainder of the term. Even though we started off pretty quiet, with zero votes in the first couple of weeks, at the and we got the opportunity to process a few of them.

My sincere gratitiude goes out to my team of Deputy Speakers: @Cloud, @Prov, @Griddyland, @Vapia and former Deputy @Noscar, thank you all for joining and assisting me in my first steps of being Speaker!

When I accepted my nomination during the Special Speaker Election, I never intended to just be a filler Speaker for the remainder of the term, and I think I have succeeded in doing it. I hope for the next term I can continue with my contribution to this amazing region!

Sincerely,
Matzerati
Speaker of the Regional Assembly

Opening Address

There I am again! After a very hard election battle, I managed to become your Speaker again! This time it will be a full term instead of the 1,5 months I have served so far. I want to thank you all again for trusting me to fill the office of Speaker. I will do everything I can to maintain this trust.

As for my Deputies, I am reappointing @Cloud, @Vapia and @Prov as Deputies. @St George will also return as Deputy Speaker. They need no further explanation, and I'm certain that they will once again prove to be an invaluable asset to the Office and the region in general. I am also pleased to welcome a new face as Deputy Speaker: @Cosmic! Cosmic may be new, but they have already shown themselves in the NPA, rapidly climbing up to the ranks of Officer and even Minister of Defence! After showing his interest in helping in the Speaker's office a while back when I was running things as a Deputy myself, and once again just before this election, I didn't have to hesitate for a second to appoint him. Deputies, please take your oaths promptly.

A few things as a start:
  • Just like last time, a working schedule for each Deputy will be created. I hope to publish this next week.
  • The next edition of the RA Digests is still scheduled for release this Saturday.
  • I hope to do an audit for the Citizens and Residents sheets and groups this week.
  • As discussed, all Cabal members will receive their Vote Multiplication Tools as soon as possible.
Let's make this term amazing!

Sincerely,
Matzerati
Speaker of the Regional Assembly

Deputy Speaker Schedule
Back again with another schedule for the first half of the term! With this schedule, all lesser experienced Deputy Speakers have been assigned with a more experienced member, which will help them in improving their own knowledge. The schedule works the same as the one from the previous term, so if anything changes, this post will be edited accordingly.

Mr. Speaker, I would ask that if you do a cleanup of the citizen/resident registry's sharing permissions, that you preserve my permissions despite not being a deputy, as it would allow me to continue troubleshooting and fixing the scripting in the sheet.

If you look at Extensions -> Apps Script, and then Code.gs, references to stanpit.thenorthpacific.org were my changes to fix the checks. That's my droplet.

I'll keep this in mind should I decide to do a cleanup again.
