The Republic itself is a collection of Islands and City States controlled by the 14th Megas Doux Alexios Alessandros from the capital city of Auburn. Centered on the main island of Rovial, Auburn secured its hold on the territory by annexing and taking nearby islands forming the core of the Republic. The Republic has seven constituent parts, the City States of Auburn, Luccre, Aulpin, Holbit,
Pollis, Trellin and the Island of Dolby.

History
Auburnian history can be split into three Ages. The first Age saw the introduction of the concept of a republic, the Rossic as the standard currency and the assimilation of control of the entirety of Rovial
The Second age saw its great expansion by taking the Island of Dolby after the civil war that turned the Republic into a Dictatorship which was overthrown after a century and paved the way for the next age.
Currently in its Third Age, the Republic now focuses its efforts into revolutionizing its fleet for international trade and exploration with the Doux intending to create a massive new surface fleet to cement itself as a regional trading power.
