The Monarchy of Guslantis, led by Her Royal Majesty, Queen-Regent Leah of Augustus Town, is hosting a tour of the region. The Regent, along with the Minister of Human Services, Ms. Nagarkar, and the King, Sean I of Pigletville, who is of the age of thirteen, will be traveling to the various nations of the region in hopes of transitioning from the temporary leader of the country to the future leader, Sean I. The trio may attend state visits, participate in tours of the nation, and any other event that you would like them to be involved in.

To get involved, please respond to this invitation accordingly, and we will add you to the schedule. We ask that you include a tentative schedule, so that we may add that to your file.

Even though the Queen, and later, His Royal Majesty, is not in charge of the government, Leah and Anjali can and would like to discuss political ties and issues in the nations that they visit.

Her Royal Majesty, Queen Leah of Augustus Town. She is currently serving as Queen until the true King of Guslantis, Sean, is ready to lead the nation in her place. Leah enjoys being more casual, however, when it comes to being queen, there is a line that Leah draws.

The daughter of Syrixian-born citizens, Anjali Nagarkar currently serves as Minister of Human Services. She is a great fit for the position, understanding the different emotions and cultures of others. She is very excited to meet the region, and we hope you welcome her.

The King of Guslantis himself, the young teenage boy that will soon have an entire nation at his command. Sean, who is next in the line of succession, love adventure, reading, and learning about the fun and exciting world that this is, and he is ready to meet all of the leaders.

Thank you for your time, and we hope we can soon begin our tour of the region.

On behalf of the Kingdom of Esplandia we would gladly host the Royal Party of Gustlantis in our capital city and would recommend they visit on the Winter Solstice, December 22, and join in the celebrations which will include gift giving, fireworks, and a great feast.

The solstice, known in Esplandia as the Festival of Saint Avalus, is the second most holy day to Aelostians and signifies the birth of Saint Avalus who's service to Aela was rewarded by making her the Erujakir of the month of December and the virtue of transcendence. We celebrate her life by giving gifts to others.

With peace,

We will schedule you promptly, would you like to be the first nation on the tour, or what time would give you the most benefit? The Royal Party will be dressed in grey, as they believe that will be good for the nation.

A Message to the Queen-Regent of Guslantis:
To Her Royal Majesty, the Queen-Regent Leah:

The Kingdom of Vazos would be honored to host you, the young King, and your party in Grikastelo. I have a winter home there which shall be made as available to you as the highest guests to grace its doors. I shall arrange for the Royal Symphony and Choir of the Winds to stage a concert in your honor. It is my understanding that the Guslants also have a rich musical heritage. If His Highness is interested, I can also arrange for him to meet some Vazosi closer to his age. Lord Nahata does not want for nieces and nephews.

I eagerly await your reply.
~BELRAK of the clan SAHAS, HIGH KING of the Islands of Vazos

The Khan wishes to personally invite the Royal party to visit Wolfsea and to participate in the Day of Blades celebrations on the second of January, it is, somewhat appropriately, a celebration of adulthood in which the new apprentice warriors (those who, in their 13th year, entered the Academies in September) are celebrated. We should mention that a dress uniform is expected for the celebration.

The Khan also wishes to grant King Sean membership of the Crescent clan as a Companion as a part of the celebration, this is the equivalent to the granting of a knighthood or similar honour along with Queen-Regent Leah.

"Go traidisiúnta ní mór dúinn an Ceolchoirm Yule Ceol le comhlíonadh ag an gComhairle baill páistí agus aon leanaí eile ar mian leo a bheith páirteach. De ghnáth is é seo ar siúl ar an Grianstad an Gheimhridh iarbhír féin, ar an 22 Nollaig na bliana seo. Mar sin féin, tá ceolchoirm cleachtaidh ar Oíche Yule, ar an 20 Nollaig na bliana seo. Más mian leat a bheith i láthair, in iúl dom agus beidh mé socrú a gach rud a."

(Traditionally we have the Yule Music Concert performed by the Council members children and any other children who want to join. Usually this is run on the actual Winter Solstice itself, on 22 December this year. However, there is a rehearsal concert on Yule Eve, on 20 December this year. If you want to attend, let me know and I will arrange everything.)

We'd love to, what dates fit you? The King would enjoy mingling and playing with some Vazosi teenagers.

The King would love that. He still has the ceremonial dagger that you gave his father, and he will be honored to learn some fighting techniques and learn how to serve his people better. If you so desire that he wear a certain uniform, you may send it to us, and we'll make sure he gets it. We'll schedule you right up.

THE SEDERA'S RESIDENCE
PELAGIS

We Upon the Auspicious Throne of the Spirits and Ancestors would like to extend Our warmest invitation to Guslantis' touring party to come visit the All-House Union and its capital of Pelagis.

In the traditional Myrorian calendar, the fourth of Tebesum is St. Mavin's Day, the day set aside to remember St. Mavin, a Myrorian saint and venerated spirit who lived in the ninth century. Blessed Mavin walked from Ramurith, his home village in the east of Myroria, to the western holy site of Meresileth in the dead of winter with nothing but the clothes on his back and the coats and boots donated to him by strangers along the way.

On St. Mavin's Day, Myrorians remember not just his pious deed but the importance of winter to our culture. In Pelagis, this holiday will be celebrated with a parade and procession from the eastern part of the city, across the River Ser, to the western city line. Along the way, there will be joy, cheer, and celebration, along with a wonderful display of the capital city. We would be very pleased to see the royal party with Our own, as an expression of friendship and amity.

In our common dating system, St. Mavin's Day falls on December 16. We understand that this is relatively short notice, but We hope Guslantis' touring party is able to attend.

With sincerity,

Her Majesty, Sedera of Myroria,
Fendrina Quarrovth

Any dates after the second week of January will be best as the traditional New Year festivities in Vazos last for two weeks.

The All-House Union of Myroria
Stop #1

The Royal Party, dressed in a beautiful maroon, are on their way to the All House Union of Myroria. The King, using Fluttr, has been posting photos of his flight thus far, and hopes that the Thomas Air flight is short.

Myroria is a new nation to explore for the Party, but as Myroria is a founding member of the Novrith Pact, this may be a topic of conversation for the two countries and their representatives.

The 787 carrying the trio should be arriving in Myroria, and the trio should be attended to promptly by a Myrorian representative and taken to the first event planned by the Myrorian delegation.

It was an unseasonably warm morning for December in Pelagis; the moorlands surrounding the city had a light coat of snow from last week's dusting, but it was quickly being melted by the chilly rain falling and the dense fog rolling in today.

Pelagis International Airport was experiencing heavy delays because of the gray mist swallowing everything, but the personnel at Fendrin Quarrovth Air Force Base, on the outskirts of town, were breaking their backs ensuring the Guslantis tour party would arrive right on time. The base was known as the "Nelvil III Moomintroth Air Force Base" when it was founded, but was quietly renamed once Nelvil died and Fendrin, the current Sedera's father, was chosen by the Council of Great Houses to replace him.

Rumors that Fendrin, a Royal Army general beloved by his soldiers for his skill at logistics and modernization, was gathering a force outside the capital as Nelvil's health deteriorated were always denied by his administration as well as that of Fendrina, his daughter. If the Council elected Fendrin king for his political eye and astute service with both the Myrorian Foreign Corps and the Royal Army, that was their choice and there was certainly no coercion present. Nor was their coercion present when, throughout the 70s and 80s, most things named after Nelvil and his dynasty were renamed after Fendrin and his own.

Fendrin Quarrovth Air Force Base was a reflection of his own military philosophy, which he was sure to instill in the people working there. It was a modernized, efficient machine, perhaps the only military outpost in Myroria with such qualities. Most installations in the country - navy bases in Novrith or Oramin's Plantation, bases belonging to the Myrorian Foreign Corps in the deep forest of the southwest, or air force bases in Thanelen and Soramith - were wracked with political infighting among the officers based around decades- or centuries-old feuds, outdated technology, and, with the exception of the Foreign Corps, a total lack of esprit d'corps.

Fendrin would never have allowed this situation at the air force installation in the capital named after himself. Here, the commanding officers were close friends of his family and the airmen and women drilled incessantly for days like today - where they could show off the precision of the Royal Air Force. A pity he wasn't alive to see this.

His daughter had a personality much like his own and her reign, beginning in 2004 with Fendrin's death from throat cancer - the result of smoking up to fifteen cigars a day - had felt like an extension of his own for many. Fendrina hoped to make her own mark on the Sederaship, and this started with state visits like these. Her father always hated them, preferring to chomp on a cigar while discussing matters of state over a big red telephone, but Fendrina had a love of ceremony.

The 787 touched down safely - though this was barely visible from the terminal through the thick fog. A detachment of the Sedera's Guards stood at attention by a red carpet rolled out for the party's arrival. The Guards were dressed in dark green jackets and slacks, with a tall black shako complete with red feather on their head. They looked rather ridiculous in their getup, but Fendrina always had a taste for ostentation.

As the plane taxied into a good spot to let off its passengers, Llothren, the Royal Chamberlain and chief-of-staff for the Sedera walked out. He greeted the party briefly as they stepped off the plane before Fendrina walked out of the terminal down the carpet. The Guards Band played Guslantis's national anthem as she strolled.

"Welcome to the All-House Union," she said.

The minister was the first to introduce herself. Looking to both the Queen and King, she approached Fendrina, and extended her hand. "Minister Anjali Nagarkar of Human Services. The Cabinet thought it was best to send me, as a new minister, to introduce you to our future King, and let you speak to our current Queen. On behalf of both, with blessing of the Chancellor, and the compassion of our dear citizens, I thank you for letting us see your part of the region, and that we grow a new friendship between the Union, and the Monarchy. This is Queen Leah, current monarch of our nation, and resident of Augustus Town," she said, stepping back to let Leah speak.

"It is nice to meet you. May we join bonds that last both my lifetime and yours," said Leah, shaking Fendrina's hand. "And this is Sean, the future monarch of our nation, and King of Guslantis," said Anjali, looking to the teenage boy wearing a coronet over his blond hair. He had practiced his introduction with his mother for weeks. With her now the governor, she held a lot of diplomatic expertise. "Uh, yes. My people are here with the intention of offering our hands open in diplomacy. With the chaos that has been recently enveloping the region, it is now a time as ever to not look at our differences and cause conflict, but to look at our similarities and grow closer as two nations. Open our eyes to the culture and political affairs, and let us see what it means to be a Myrorian," said the young king, again stepping back.

As the trio talked, one more person stepped out of the plane to join them, escorted by more Royal guards. "All is in place, your highnesses, we are ready to embark when you are," said the man with red hair. "Ah, I almost forgot, the majordomo of the Charles Palace, and head of the elite security forces, James Reynolds," said Anjali, letting Reynolds and the guards get into position, ready for what was to come.

"It is a pleasure to meet you, Minister," Fendrina said, nodding at Nagarkar and shaking her hand. She turned to the Queen and King and shook their hands as well, nodding at each. "Your Majesties,"

Fendrina, her son and the Crown Prince Menil, and her daughter Emasun wore traditional Myrorian garb for the holiday but the other members of the party - various bodyguards, courtiers, and Llandren the Royal Chamberlain - wore typical business dress.

The Myrorian attire of the Royal Family was bright, ornate, and heavy. Fendrina herself wore a pastel blue kaftan made of wool, tied at the waist with a thick, crimson silk sash. Tied around her neck were two or three delicate, thin scarves in pastel reds, purples, and yellows. The scarves were embroidered with intricate damask, and atop them all the Sedera wore the symbol of her office - a golden necklace inset with rubies, emeralds, diamonds, topaz, and cat's eye. Her crown, tall and modeled in the style of a stupa-mausoleum at Mere-rûn, was far too heavy and unwieldy to wear anywhere she could not have people supporting it - a stipulation likely intended by the Council of Great Houses when they elected the first king of Myroria.

She wore flats, as always, as well as grey trousers and a purple blouse hardly visible under all the fabric weighing down her neck and shoulders. The kaftan was loosely fitted, though not enough to compromise its warmth - Fendrina's bony hips were the only disruption in the straight silhouette the garment gave its wearer.

Menil's outfit was darker, somewhat, but still saturated with color. He was a strapping young man, 19 or 20 years of age, and seemed less dwarfed by the amount of fabric sitting on his body. Emasun, at only 15, was a spitting image of her mother's thin frame and thus looked nearly lost in her own outfit.

"It would be my pleasure to show you Pelagis," Fendrina said. She held out her arm, fabric rustling. "Please, our motorcade is this way."

Their first destination was the Sedera's Residence, and from its wide balcony overhanging the main drag through the city the party would watch the St. Mavin's Day procession. Normally, the Sedera and Royal Family would walk with the pilgrims and revelers, but this tradition continues only spottily, depending on the recommendation of the Sedera's Guards. With the commotion in Rhuvanland as well as the activities of the Patriarchate, it was decided that this year's parade would be best seen from the Residence balcony.

Pelagis was an ancient city; an amalgam of architectures, each building's style depending on what could be preserved. Most buildings predated the founding of the Myrorian nation in the early 18th century; those that didn't were typically modern skyscrapers installed after a fire or some other event rendered the original plot uninhabitable.

Banners hung across the streets from buildings in myriad colors. St. Mavin's Day was a national holiday, and most businesses were closed or had shortened hours. The motorcade took a route of closed streets back to the Residence, but one could see from the car windows that most streets in the city were swarming with people and there were few cars to be seen. Various small festivals featuring music and other entertainment took place across Pelagis. The city government encouraged borough and ward councils to put on such festivals with grants and other incentives.

Often, conservatives decried the debauchery. St. Mavin's good deed - walking barefoot in the snow - was an act of extreme penitence and prostration before the hallowed Ancestors and Spirits, and this modern-day holiday with its drinking, dancing, and laughs were a mockery of everything he did. These complaints and protests, though, did little to stem the wave of festivities. It was well known that the Sedera had her own love of drink and celebration, and as long as she lived St. Mavin's Day in Pelagis would probably continue to look much the same.

The party regathered at the Residence courtyard after the motorcade pulled to a stop and everyone got out.

"I hope you got a good look at the festivities," the Sedera said to the Guslantis party, though speaking to no one in particular. "It's a pity we will not be able to take part in it ourselves this year." she continued, walking slowly towards the entrance of the Residence.

"When I was a girl I would often dress more plainly and walk the city on St. Mavin's Day, taking part in the - " she paused. "merriment. Of course, I would be recognized immediately if I were to try that nowadays."

She opened the tall, heavy pine door to the Residence and a guard grabbed it to hold it open for the group. Her flats made a soft click on the tile floor. "We will be having a small celebration with some invited guests to celebrate the holiday, if you are interested. I understand your schedule must be tight, though."

There were some chuckles from the Myrorian members of the group.

"When my mother says 'small'," Emasun said quietly to Sean, "she means 'a couple dozen'."

Sean chuckled, it was similar to when Akerman told the Cabinet she would order a small squad of troops, and when they turned around, realized she meant half of the Guslantis Armed Forces. It was good to know there were people like the Guslants in other places in the world.

As Sean admired the views around him, behind the young king, Leah watched his every move. Not with criticism, but with awe. She watched as his lips curved into a smile, a most-breathtaking little smile that reminded the queen of the innocence and joy of the Guslant youth. His brown eyes sparkled as he looked around the residence. He was truly interested in the culture of the Myrorians, and Leah loved that about the young king. He will be a truly magnificent successor, and she let out one tear of joy as she smiled at the thought.

"He reminds you of Ryan," said Anjali, softly near Leah's shoulder. Leah looked over to the older minister. "He is the son you never had," she continued, continuing to say aloud the thoughts that were built up in Leah's head. The queen nodded as she grabbed her engagement ring on her finger. She was eternally engaged to a man who was brutally murdered in front of her eyes.

His blond hair was almost similar to Sean's, and the similarity of the two killed her inside. Anjali could see the tense look on the queen's face and knew she had to respond to the request to stay. "We have time, I believe his majesty would most enjoy the festivities," said Nagarkar with a smile. "Yay! Is there a pool?", said the king in excitement. All three Guslant adults looked at him with pure confusion. He was the only person all three would think would want to go swimming in the middle of winter.

"Sean dear, let's not ask for something that ridiculous...I'm sorry, he's new to this whole diplomacy thing," said Leah, grabbing Sean by the shoulders to calm his excitement. "Not that I'm rushing, but please let's stay on schedule, we must be in Kalti on the...," started the major domo from the back of the party.

"Please continue with the planned festivities," said Sean, confidently.
