In the time between the program posts you may do what you want. Restricted areas of the Palace are marked by
"State Only!"-signs, guards or both. We will keep the palace as open as possible, but there are some restricted areas. Guests who violates this will be escorted back to the open areas. Repeating offenders will be asked toleave the country under military escort.

It is not compulsary to attend all the events. We have decided to do it this way, because the first part of the crowning ceremony is held in the Tronkandal Cathedral. We acnowledge that some of the guests may be of such a faith that it is against their belief to enter a house of worship of another religion. For guests who does not wish to join in the cathedral, there will be a live videofeed from the ceremony in the appropriately furnished Hall of Guests at the palace. There will also be music and entertainment and light refreshments.

SECURITY

During this event security is paramount.
The Royal District is cordonned off and a no-flight zone over the entire capital is strictly enforced by the Royal Tronkandalian Air Force together with the 1st Air Defence battalion. Only aircraft from the Royal Tronkandalian Air Force will be allowed to fly in the area. This does not affect traffic at the airport.

There will be a strong military presence in the city and surrounding area. This is because of Bigtopian threats related to this ceremony. Most of the combat-ready personnel will be inside mobile command posts, IFVs or otherwise try to stay away from public eye as much as possible. All military personnel visible will be wearing parade uniform, but carry battle rifles instead of ceremonial weapons.

Our prime goal is to keep our regent and his guests safe. If you choose to arrive by plane, helicopter or other air transport, please state your identity and purpose to the Tronkandalian Royal Airforce air-traffic control before you enter our airspace and a fighter escort will be scrambled. You will only take directions from the RTrAF. If anyone without the proper transmission ID tries to give you directions, please state this on the military distress channel (243 MHz) and await instructions.

If guests choose to arrive by car, we need you to get in touch with us so we can issue the required access passes.
Guests arriving by any other means will be escorted in cars supplied by the Royal Guard. The Palace grounds will be patrolled by His Majesty the KingsRoyal Guard and their changing of the guard will continue as usual.

PRESS

There will be a limited press presence during the event. There is a press-centre right outside the Royal District. There will be no journalists during the ceremony at the cathedral or during the crowning ceremony. There will however be pre-placed and pre-checked videocameras on both locations to broadcast the event. There will be arranged a press conference during the event, but this will be handled by the staff. If you would like to talk to the press, please contact the Lord of the Household Arthur Tennfjord.

(OOC: Even if it's the middle of december, this event takes place at the start of july. Sorry guys, poor planning from my side. This is an invitation sent out in advance. Just start RPing. Also some guidelines: Outside the main events you are free to do what you want (mostly) and your posts will be about what you experience and do. That is: outside the main events things doesn't necessarily have to revolve around the King or the ceremony. Do what you would've done at an event like this.)

Prime Minister Alfred Nursson and Minister John Sirus, as well as the families of the aforementioned persons, wish to attend the ceremony.

It was morning. The king was yanked out of his sleep by someone knocking on his bedroom door.
"Your majesty! You have to wake up! The guests are starting to arrive in mere hours!" It was one of his adjutants. The annoying one.

All over the palace and palace ground there was hectic activity. The staff band could be heard as they was practicing their repertoir one last time. The Honor Guard was seen doing one last check on their uniforms.
"Well, let's not keep the guests waiting, then" Fredrik said to himself as he walked into the bathroom.
He put on his uniform and went downstairs.
"walk with me!" he barked at the adjutant who shortly before had waken him. "Are there any news about the Bigtopians?"
"No, your majesty. They toned down their threats after they noticed the massive security arrangements. I know they really don't like your family after what your father did in the war. Okay, they started it, but-"
"That's enough! I know what my father did, and I'm as happy about it as the Bigtopians. Let's hope I manage to fix my family's reputation during my reign. Now you'll have to excuse me. I'll have to inspect the troops before our guests arrive."

A horde of children, accompanied by two women dressed in ornate dresses, Patricia Sirus and Margaret Nursson, and two suited men of government, Minister John Sirus and Prime Minister Alfred Nursson, entered The Star of Syrixia, Syrixia's finest executive plane.

"Alright everyone, fasten your seat belts..." said the pilot.

Soon, the plane was off for Tronkandal.

Everyone was fine, John was drinking a nice whiskey as always, and the others were having a chat, but Nursson seemed separate.

He was worried, for he had inherited a lot of the burden in one of Syrixia's worst situations- foreign relations with Bigtopia.

They were cold and untrusting, and there seemed to be no way at peace as each power secretly built up their nuclear bombs in case of a war. In a way, a cold war was occurring behind the scenes.

Nursson knew of Tronkandal's bad relations with Bigtopia, and he knew that everyone would be at risk if Syrixia and Tronkandal were together at a ceremony.

Then again, Nursson thought, he could just be paranoid.

...Right?

Vilsuun Jok'mey is currently unable to visit but wishes to send his cousin, who is one of the two Deputy Vilsuuns. He is known as Roy'stathe Foreh dos Kahn.

Madam Hilley and First Gentleman Hilley would like to attend on behalf of Guslantis. They will arrive by car and will need special passes, and would like to speak to the press.

As the king walked past the ranks of his Royal Guard, he noticed his adjutant tapping his foot and looking at his watch. The king sighed and finished the inspection.
"What?" he said as he approached his annoying assistant.
"It's time for your speech at the parliament!" he answered. "You have to get going now!"

As the armored car sped down the avenue, it was suddenly pelted with rocks.
"what the hell was that!?" the adjutant yelled.
"Oh, we're just driving past the Bigtopian embassy." the king answered.
"They still got their embassy here!?" The adjutant said, shocked.
"Yes. It was opened before the war, when the relation between us was much better. You may almost call it friendly. And then they tried to overrun us. And they nearly damn did. We can't evict them, because it's technical Bigtopian soil, so any form of aggression may be seen as a declaration of war. And I will not let that happen again."

After his speech at the parliament, he had a nice conversation with the Prime Minister. Suddenly his phone rang.
"Yes, what is it?" He said.
"This is Colonel Hauge" he heard from the other end. "The guests are starting to arrive. A Syrixian plane just entered our airspace and we've scrambled one of our fighters as escort. Just thought I'd let you know, sir."
"Thank you, Svein" the king replied. "Well, nice talking to you, Per" he said to the PM. "But now I have to go. We've got guests."

(OOC: Sorry for not following up on this for some time. I've had a lot of work the last days. For some reason people insists on getting really ill this close to christmas, so I've had patients up my wazoo.)

President Tomb and the Tombian Minister of Foreign Affairs have just received a message about this and they will be arriving with a humble gift for the new king. They look forward to meeting him and also establishing some relations with the kingdom.

~ Tomb, President of The Democratic Republic of Tomb

Nursson stepped off the plane. He had just been back from an experience visiting the newborn child of Madam Hilley, and was all tuckered out.

Half asleep, he slowly staggered off the plane and hobbled towards the airport.

King Tozian I and his sister, Princess Nara II arrived in their private royal jet, followed by a few security guards. The Princess was wearing a white and blue dress (white and blue are Plembobria's national colors.) and a frown. She wasn't really fond of royal life -- putting on a dress and following her brother everywhere he went. She'd be quite content living on her own, in one of the smaller provinces like Mediglorn.

Two members of the royal family approached the palace to attend the coronation of their distant relative.

(OOC: If this is out of place, please tell me.)

Emperor Bjorn boards his underground trans-oceanic-contineantal train it should take him a very very short time to arive.

(OOC: There's a trans-oceanic continental train and I didn't know about it? 0.0)

(OOC: Yeah I my nation has private access to it and it's yeah just a train system we secretly built all throught the NP if you dig deep enough somewhere in your nation maybe you can find the tracks....lo,,,Also Do you think i should make an industry out of that?)

(OOC: I recommend you publicize it to all TNP nations and enlist the help of said nations to expand the network. The network could be a valuable resource and there's no reason to hog it.)

As Nursson stepped out of the plane, the guard commander shouted:
"Achtung!"
The ranks of soldiers on both sides of the red carpet slammed their heels together, their heel-irons sparking as they hit each other.
"Präsentiert das Gewehr!" he proceeded to shout. The honor guard presented their rifles as a large black car stopped at the end of the carpet. A soldier from the Royal guard jumped out and opened the door as he too slammed his heels together.
The guard commander turned and saluted as he said: "Welcome to Tronkandal! His Majesty will see you as soon as you arrive at the palace!"

(OOC: The command language of our armed forces is german, by the way. The Tronkandalian society is loosely based on Norway, but our armed forces is inspired by germany.)

"Thank you." Nursson said. He was tired, and just wanted to get out of the airport.

He walked slowly and tiredly toward the terminal, wherein he would take a car to the palace.

Syrixia:
"Thank you." Nursson said. He was tired, and just wanted to get out of the airport.

He walked slowly and tiredly toward the terminal, wherein he would take a car to the palace.
OOC: You don't have to walk - there is a car (the big, black one) waiting for you a few meters away.

Nursson entered the car first. The others got in afterwards, but they were more cheery than poor old Alfred Nursson, who was grumpy and tired.

He sat back and prepared for his arrival at the Palace, not knowing Bigtopian hitmen were following his limo in a prolifically-disguised sedan...
