Has another pampered Intelligentsian Prince fallen to the perils of partying and philandering?

This sensational headline claimed that Prince Richard, Duke of Intelligentsia and Caspius, spent an alcohol fuelled night partying in Ghavaria, a coastal city about two hours south of Intelligentsia. The rumour, published in popular gossip magazines "No Idea" and "Woman's Meekly" alleges that the Prince, 17, who will be proclaimed King of McMasterdonia on his 18th birthday spent most of the night soaking wet while on a wild alcohol fuelled holiday.

The Prince emerged in the early hours of Saturday morning with two local aspiring models, Catherine Bough and Lisa Divissi, who said they were both hoping to find work in Intelligentsia in the film industry.

"He noticed us from across the dance floor and came over to say hello and offered to buy us a drink" said Catherine Bourgh, 21 of Ceduna "He was an absolute gentleman, very handsome and kind"

However staff at the Ghavarian Syrixia Nightclub suggested that the Prince enjoyed a wild night out and after consuming copious amounts of Myrorian liquor and cigarettes, dived straight into a fountain. With the Prince allegedly stating to onlookers that he needed to get a closer look at the exotic fish housed within.

The Prince entered the well known Ghavarian establishement with a significant entourage including Palace Security and his personal guard, Helena - a recent graduate of New Intelligentsia's Royal Academy. The Prince then reportedly ordered large amounts of shots for the locals, before leaving his security officers to settle the bill.

Ghavarian Syrixia Nightclub Promotions Officer Cassandra Howard was at the Nightclub when the Prince and his entourage arrived unannounced. "It is not usual for our guests to be allowed to swim in the fountain for safety reasons. But I do not think even his personal security could contain him - he was a serious party boy who wanted to let his hair down. When you see someone having such a fantastic time, there is no need to stop them. That's our motto here at the Ghavarian Syrixia Nightclub" she said.

Prince Richard was spotting leaving the nightclub with two women of unknown origin. It has been suggested that one of the women was Irma Hanssoon, daughter of former Countess Sophie Manssoon and on-again off-again girlfriend of Prince Richard. A Palace spokesman denied these rumours stating in a statement, that:

"The reporting surrounding the Prince Richard's recent visit to Ghavaria is emphatically dishonest and incorrect. The Prince was visiting Ghavaria to pay his respects to the wounded veterans and civilians in local hospitals who were injured as a result of Patriarchate attacks on Ghavaria in the past month. It is denied that the Prince has any form of contact or relationship with Irma Hansoon. It is further emphatically denied that Prince Richard has engaged in the shameful misconduct alleged by No Idea and Women's Meekly. These false allegations have only been made to defame the good name of Prince Richard as he will soon reach his majority. The House of McMaster shall determine a suitable match for the Prince Richard at such a time, as occurred when the marriage between his Mother, Queen Matilda II and Prince-Consort Richard was negotiated in 1992."

The sister princesses of the Principality of Sil Dorsett implore the House of McMaster to eschew the practice of arranged marriages in all social classes, from the ordinary citizen to royalty, from this day forward. The practice of arranged marriage is a grimy fossil of ancient times and has no place in modern society. The only persons who should be involved in determining how suitable anyone is as a potential spouse for Prince Richard should be Prince Richard and said potential spouse. Not only do we demand this of the House of McMaster, but we demand it of all families around the world who utilize the same. The decision of whether to marry must be left up to the potential couple, for the sake of the marriage and the family that forms from the love two people share with one another.

Regarding the content of the accusations levied in "No Idea" and "Woman's Meekly" regarding any nightclub incidents, we issue no comment.

To whom it may concern,

I hope this letter finds His Highness the Prince well. I was asked to send this communication to His Highness with haste as it can't be long before he has found a woman of high and noble birth to court considering His Highness' handsome face, not to consider many talents. I would implore His Highness, though, to consider courting a most eligible bachelorette, the daughter of a noble of House Indiotrovth.

While it is true that House Indiotrovth is not the largest, richest, or most powerful noble family in the All-House Union of Myroria, she is an ancient and quite respectable House, notwithstanding the awful slanders spread about her alleged (and totally false) connections to foreign interlopers. And while it is true that many today doubt the utility or humanity of arranged marriages, it is in the opinion of many belonging to this House (as well as the father of this eligible bachelorette particularly) that is is an old and esteemed tradition that has resulted in many happy couples.

This bachelorette, Muvrulea Indiotrovth, is the daughter of a well-born intendant in Moose Lake Township in County Traval. She is a young woman, well-educated in one of the newest schools for girls established by Her Majesty the Sedera here in County Traval. She is guided by her faith in the Myrorian religion and has a healthy respect of and deference to authority. It is also my understanding that she has been following His Highness's charity projects in hospitals for veterans of your Recent Unpleasantness and is very impressed by the size of his heart in that regard.

I would highly encourage the royal House of McMaster to consider Muvrulea a candidate for courtship by His Highness the Prince. House Indiotrovth, for her part, would be very glad to welcome such a fine young man as Prince Richard to its own hearth.

As always, your humble and obedient servant,

Ruram Indaloth, Clerk
