Her Royal Highness, by and with the advice and consent of the Peers and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, announces the authorization for the establishment of foreign embassies within the territory of the Principality, and invites all nations to apply for the same.
All embassies shall be located in the Capital City of Norvalle. All nations are permitted to send a maximum of 30 personnel without the need of special dispensation, including the ambassador (but not including the ambassador's family, if applicable), the ambassador's staff, and security personnel. Those nations wishing to exceed 30 personnel must provide justification.
The Principality shall not decline an embassy application for reason of government type or economic system, though this information is collected. Nations declined by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for other reasons shall have the right to appeal to Her Royal Highness for final determination.
We desire that all nations submit applications, as we believe peace and understanding between nations in the international community is paramount.

The Principality of Sil Dorsett is impressed by the responses given in support of the construction of embassies amongst all the nations of Eras. However, allocating a building for each nation has proven to be unsustainable given our government's limited budget and available space in Norvalle. As such, we are forced to take action to reduce the burden laid upon our citizens.
The new embassy guidelines are as follows:
The government administration building at 14 North, 3rd West Street, in close proximity to Rivage Palace, will now hold embassies for each nation on each floor, allocated with strict personnel requirements. We have allocated fifteen of the twenty-four floors of the administration building for embassies. Should demand for embassies exceed the capacity of the building, temporary embassies will be set up at Rivage Palace until a secondary administration building is constructed. Delegations should consist of the ambassador, no more than twenty-two staff members, and seven security guards. If additional staff is required and justified, this may require an additional floor to be allocated, and costs levied to the applying nation increased accordingly. The Government of Sil Dorsett will provide housing assistance for the ambassador, staff members, and security as before. Foreign government provided vehicles are still permitted and will be homed in a nearby parking garage.
Applications for new embassies shall now only consist of the country applying, the ambassador representing said country, the number of staff accompanying the ambassador, and languages spoken so that translators may be provided.
All available trade routes by land, sea, and air are now automatically opened to nations with diplomatic relations.

You may PM me on the forum or notify me somehow on Discord to create your embassy, update your Ambassador's name, or close/reopen your embassy. There is no need to do so in this thread. If I close your embassy due to poor relations, I will notify you. Examples of things that indicate the creation of an embassy include written communication in Discord or displaying an embassy map that includes the status of an embassy in Sil Dorsett.
