Part of celebrating NationStates is looking back on the events that you'll remember from it, and the memories you made on it. NationStates has 14 years of history, and within that history, which we are all a part of, there's bound to be some great events that you've witnessed, seen, or remember.

Whether it be the delegacy of a couper, an invasion, a gamechanging NS update, an invasion, a treaty, or anything else, NS has sure shown us some interesting historical events. So, TNPers, I ask you- what stories do you have to tell?

What events did you witness that you remember fondly, clearly, badly, or other? Why do you remember those events specifically? Where were you during them, and how did you play a part in them if you did? Friends, pull up a chair, sit back, have a cup of tea, and reminisce about times long since past...

What events did you witness that you remember fondly, clearly, badly, or other? One event that I clearly remember was the Milograd coup of The South Pacific.

Why do you remember those events specifically? It was the first time I payed attention to a feeder region being couped. Though it was roundly criticized around NS and here in TNP, I couldn't help but feel grudging admiration that he pulled it off. It was exciting to see so many WA nations involved, one side supporting Milograd and the other side in opposition. I remember the day when the opposition reached the tipping point and they finally overthrew Milograd. It was exhilarating to watch.

Where were you during them, and how did you play a part in them if you did? I was in TNP at the time of the coup, viewing it from afar. I played no role, just that of an observer. Had I actually played a supporting role in the Milograd coup, I highly doubt the community here would have welcomed me with open arms. Well, except for JAL and Mall, perhaps. :P

Edit: Oh wow, I just found the old forum that existed for TSP during the Milograd coup.

The SPSR...I remember that. First time I actually took an interest in outside regional happenings as well, although I didn't end up doing a whole lot about it...

I do like the emblem for it though.
