Statement on the "Foreign Division of Patriarchate of Cape El"

To the National Governments of Eras nations;


The Government of the Kingdom of McMasterdonia is aware that the terrorist organisation led by the Archbishop Gunrei of Cape El has distributed information to nations of Eras regarding a foreign embassy program based out of Cape El. The Kingdom of McMasterdonia wishes to warn foreign governments against setting up an embassy program with the "Patriarchate of Cape El."

The Archbishop is providing misinformation to the international community. The territories that he alleges are independent are not, and are firmly within the territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Mcmasterdonia. The Archbishop is not a head of government. He is not a head of state. He does not control any territory through legitimate means, only through the means of violence and murder.

The Kingdom of Mcmasterdonia will not maintain relations with any nation that recognises this illegitimate action and seeks relations with Cape El or Archbishop Gunrei, outside of the legitimate framework provided by the McMasterdonian Government in Intelligentsia. Furthermore the establishment of Embassies in Cape El would pose a significant security risks to foreign nationals and diplomats, as the flemingovianist insurgency continues to target foreigners and commit mass atrocities in the name of Flemingovia.

We must reiterate that the Kingdom of McMasterdonia will not maintain diplomatic relations with any Nation that recognises this illegitimate action or accepts Archbishop Gunrei as representative of Cape El or any other Mcmasterdonian Territory.

The Free Republic of Syrixia echoes the message of the McMasterdonian government. Originally it was hoped that the flemingovianist extremists were competent enough to understand the ideas of peace and understanding, but it is clear they do not understand either idea whatsoever, and instead only know death and aggression in the name of a perverted version of flemingovianism that they have created for themselves in the hopes of gaining power. Syrixia does not and will not recognize the so-called "Patriarchate of Cape El" and urges the extremist cult based there to cease all operations in favor of the Kingdom of McMasterdonia, which is the sovereign nation to whom the territory of the so-called "Patriarchate" rightfully belongs, before any more deaths further damage both sides.

His Majesty's Government announces that the Patriarchate of Cape El is an illegitimate state and terrorist entity. All international correspondence, trade, and diplomacy between other nations and Cape El are condemned by His Majesty's Government. The legitimacy of the McMasterdonian territory is wholly and unconditionally recognized.

Archbishop Gunrei has been designated as an enemy of the Kingdom, and in the event of his capture by authorized agents of His Majesty, he shall be delivered to the Kingdom of McMasterdonia.

Bills proposing the sanctioning of Cape El have been introduced before the Commons.

His Majesty's Government further announces that it will abstain from all or any military action on the matter for the present.

His Majesty's Government urges other nations to avoid intervention in this conflict, which is cultural and religious by nature.
 
Syrixia commends the statement of Plembobria. We now recognize the state of this conflict. It permeates so deep into the fabric of McMasterdonian society that, as the government of Plembobria has noted, it is best left alone and should not be intervened in.

We reiterate our support for the Kingdom of McMasterdonia and wish them a swift victory against the extremist terrorists who call themselves the "Patriarchate of Cape El". We also hereby rescind our application for NPTOPF intervention in this conflict.

The Confederacy of Zyvetskistaahn does not recognise the so-called Patriarchate of Cape El as a state or its sovereignty over any territory, it is a terrorist organisation that has warped the ideas of the religion it supposes to represent. The Confederacy will not entertain relations with any such terrorist organisation and condemns in the strongest terms any nation that does so.

The leaders and agents of this organisation are criminals and shall be considered and treated as such by the authorities of the Confederacy.

The Council of Executors shall consider and recommend economic sanctions against such organisations, and nations that treat with them, and suspensions in trade and travel more generally in relation to the ongoing unrest in the Kingdom of McMasterdonia.

Sadakoyama will honor the spirit of its neutrality treaty and not interfere with the internal political affairs of any nation, but warns against the admixture of religious belief and political power, and condemns religious extremism in any form.
 
Ryccia negatively condemns the illegitimate state of the Patriarchate of Cape El and will send troops if the Kingdom of McMasterdonia requests it.

Furthermore, the Patriarchate of Cape El is hereby recognized by Ryccia as both an insurgent group and a terrorist organization. All trade is hereby forbidden, and all their assets in Ryccia are frozen.

The reaction of the secular world towards our words of diplomacy and cordiality is saddening, though not unsurprising. Since the beginning of the Holy Crusade, the "liberal governments" of the world have regularly condemned our righteous battle. In the spirit of Flem and His Saints, and in recognition of the appointment of Blessed Gunrei as Patriarch of the Church, our government hoped to forgive old wounds and forge new bonds, even with those so different from ourselves.

Instead, our olive branch was met with fiery words, and our overtures of peace turned away like Flem before the Temple of Paxus. Where were the democracies and parliaments of the world as the McMasterdonian royals gassed civilians - Flemingovians all - in the name of Queen Matilda and King Albert? As the "developed", "progressive", "secular" state of McMasterdonia threw Flemingovians in jail for their beliefs and severed the ancient ties between the Archbishopric and the Royal Family, the "humanist" and "liberal" nations of the world remained silent.

These nations, run by career politicians and demagogues, condemn the Patriarchate for waging Holy War on behalf of Flemingovians oppressed by an inbred, mad royal family and their mongrel armies. We fight against the failed government of McMasterdonia for the liberation of Flemingovians not only suffering under a Royalist fist, but those suffering under secularist regimes everywhere.

The Patriarchate perhaps hoped that, through a diplomatic ordinariate authorized by His Holiness Gunrei, we could settle these differences peacefully and with candor. The godless, "progressive" nations met these good intentions with fire and disgust. We will not lower ourselves by asking again.
