Believing that a region has the duty to protect the right to free speech.

Further Believing that a region has a duty to respond quickly to imminent destruction by zombies.

Noting that that region of Laissez Faireholm was founded on the ideology of right-libertarianism.

Applauding the reputation of Laissez Faireholm for protecting its residents' right to free speech on the regional message board by allowing opposing ideologies to be discussed and supported, including those that are very controversial. These include but are not limited to: fascism, socialism, communism, theocracy, autocracy, and monarchism.

Hailing the region's surprisingly fast response to the somewhat-recent zombie outbreak, protecting a large majority of its residents from death or infection and placing the region in the top of the world in survival rates.

Hereby Commends Laissez Faireholm

We'll keep this short and sweet, the above is a fine example of everything a commendation shouldn't be. It's submitted by the regional delegate, which isn't the worst thing in the world but it does raise a slight thought of a self congratulatory pat on the back. The Ministry wouldn't mind that too much if the substance of the proposal merited that, however, in this instance the proposals content can be summed up as two points really:

• We allow free speech on our RMB.
• We reacted well to the Zombie threat.

In this instance this simply doesn't deserve any real commendation, it's nothing that hundreds of other regions didn't/do not do and simply isn't exceptional in that regard.

Furthermore, while not normally a deal breaker, had the author posted a drafting thread, which given their nation and role as delegate we'd expect they'd have known to do, four days of the council's time ultimately would not now be wasted as a direct result.
