In accordance with: TNP Legal Code, Chapter 4: Election and Appointment Procedure, The General Elections for The North Pacific Region for the month of September 2012 are scheduled as follows:

The nomination period for the September 2012 General Elections is OPEN as of Sept 1, 2012 at 0000 UTC/GMT.

The nomination period for General Elections will CLOSE on Sept 7, 2012 at 2359 UTC/GMT.

Nominations are open for individuals in the following positions:


Delegate

Vice Delegate

Speaker of the Regional Assembly



Special Nomination Instructions:

If you nominate yourself, you will automatically be placed on the election ballot. If you are nominated by another individual, you must also confirm your nomination before being placed on the ballot, preceding the close of the nomination period.


Please be reminded that all candidates for all positions, per Constitution, must have been on The North Pacific Regional Assembly for a minimum of 15 days before election nominations begin.


If you have previously been nominated, or nominated yourself, in a thread other than this one, you MUST nominate/be nominated again in this thread. This thread, and only this thread, will be used for nomination validation.



This thread will serve as the nomination thread for the September 2012 General Elections.

Campaigning: Sept 8, 2012 - Sept 10, 2012
Elections: Sept 11, 2012 to Sept 17, 2012

I'm going to decline my nomination for Vice Delegate, though I'm honored I was thought highly enough to be nominated.

I guess i'll accept my nomination as TNP marshmallow? :/
 
I thank everyone for my nominations. I cannot accept due to real life plans at the end of the year. Best of luck to all candidates.

Voting will be from 0000 GMT 11 Sept - 2359 GMT 17 Sept, 2012.
