In a Nationstates first, the region of Lone Wolves United finalized a formal treaty with Lazarus, the first known agreement of its kind ever signed between a feeder and a raider region. Outlined within its pages is both a military partnership and official recognition of the Lazarus government by that of Lone Wolves United. Both sides seemed cautiously optimistic as Lazarus hopes its signature will insure much needed activity in its fledging military and Lone Wolves United hopes the pact will bolster its ranks in times of need.

The agreement passed both Lone Wolves’ Assembly of Wolves and Lazarus’ newly renamed Council of Emerald City unanimously and both sides look forward to working with each other in the future.

Below, is the agreement itself, signed by the heads of both regions.

The Wolf Phoenix Accord

Foreword

In order to further harbor good relations and well being between our two great regions, we, the citizens of Lone Wolves United and Lazarus do agree to the following agreement:


Article I. The region of Lone Wolves United recognizes that the Phoenix government, the current government of Lazarus, is the one true and legitimate government of that region and as such will take every action necessary to ensure its continuous rule.

Article II. The region of Lone Wolves United pledges to support the above stated government in any defensive action that directly occurs as a result of attack on the region of Lazarus itself. Lone Wolves United also agrees to support the Lazarus armies in any military action outside of the region of Lazarus so long as the Lone Wolves United High Command deems it appropriate.

Article III. The Region of Lazarus recognizes that any region taken by Lone Wolves United is thus claimed as a territory of Lone Wolves United and will not take any action in such region with may displace Lone Wolves United military control.

Article IV: The Region of Lazarus agrees to participate with Lone Wolves United on military operations when called upon in a manner that the Security Minister and the King or Queen sees fit.

Article V: Both the Lazarus and Lone Wolves United military chain of command agree to make a good faith effort to share intelligence that is relevant to the other party. The relevant military officials shall have authority to veto such sharing, should they consider it to be a danger to regional security.

Article VI. The Region of Lazarus recognizes that Lone Wolves United is a raider region with a raider military and takes a stance of non-opposition and neutrality on that point.

Article VII. The Region of Lone Wolves United recognizes that, although Lazarus is neutral in nature, its army contains elements of a defender temperament and takes a stance of non-opposition and neutrality on that point.

Article VIII. Both regions agree to keep each other aware of relevant changes in the officers of their respective military forces.

Lazarus has agreed two new alliances with regions recently with treaties being signed with The Rejected Realms and the forthcoming one with Lone Wolves United.

The treaty with Lone Wolves United should be agreed upon by both sides by the New Year as it is currently being finalized and rectified by the Assembly of Immortals and Lone Wolves United.

Kandarin celebrates another ejection and addition to his realm

The alliance with The Rejected Realms has been completed and signed upon by both sides. Kandarin signed the treaty earlier on this month describing it as "good" and Lazarus agreed passing it unaminously.

So a great event for all sides and may Lazarus continue to advance up the world stage.

Besides I see nothing reguarding the actual wording of the treaty in there, people have a right to be informed about it. Are you trying to suppress me? :ph34r:
 
There is no suppression here. You're just not allowed to talk about it. :P

Congratulations to all involved. Hopefully this will add a touch more security to Lazarus delegates seat. And help the LWU have their 'fun'. :D
