Welcome to Wauker; it's social media, but better.
Wauker is a Sutherland-based social media platform, used for microblogging. Users may share posts including text (up to a limit of 380 characters), images, and videos, as well as links. It is owned by a charitable, but for-profit, organisation of the same name, with numerous investors. The platform offers a wide range of voices, news, subcultures, and topics, as well as experts and fact-checked information; the organisation employs fact-checkers to verify the information, and flags users repeatedly spreading misinformation as untrustworthy. "Untrusted" accounts receive a red ! next to the user tag, and reduced visibility, as well as being pushed further down the algorithm.
The site also has a long-form video function, for those submitting video documentaries or other long-form content as a part of their social media presence, as well as enhanced verification and moderation provisions.
First established in 2013, as a splinter of Lund (an existing social media platform in Sutherland), it has now become the most prominent social media platform, particularly amongst Generation M.

#Green party promises to reinvest "every shilling" going to carbon capture into "green energy projects" on day one, says Catrin Talbot.
This follows six years of carbon capture project investment by the #Liberal-#VDA government, with mixed results. Billions of shillings have gone towards the project, and whilst the previous government have defended it as necessary to combat climate change, it has been referred to as something of a "white elephant" by the left-wing parties, with Labour nicknaming it "corporate capture" over the participation of major oil and gas companies in securing contracts and subsidies.
