Union Election Season: Glaciosia Elected President

April is a fun month in the UDS electoral calendar - both the office of the President and the Senate are up for election this month. Unionists have expressed interest in running for the various offices, with longtime senator Kron looking to make a run for Senate Speaker.
Current VP Glaciosia was elected president, and Guess & Check + Kron were elected to the senate. The senate will have a by election to fill the two remaining seats over the next week.

UDS Discord Roleplay Enters New Phase

The long-running program of the Ministry of Roleplay, in which UDS residents take control of a nation on a real world map and play out international affairs, secretive intrigue and delightful worldbuilding with a lively discord community, has gone through its most recent reset. This periodical tradition in the server has, by a vote of its members, taken the world from the bustling near-present to the very beginnings of the Cold War in 1947. It has also seen the introduction of new balance mechanics and a light simulation of economic situations.
