Innovation Valley (Hibara): Soto Corporation has officially ended all support for Soto Intelligence, which was developed from May 2023 to June 2025 as a competitor to the emerging artificial intelligence market. Soto Intelligence, noted for its high server costs, difficulty in integration and slow development compared to other native and foreign AI developments, will be absorbed into Findr's Pisces AI network starting 01 February 2026 — according to official sources reported on Sunday.
Hanako Sotō, CEO of Soto Corporation, has declared that there will be no layoffs, shutdowns or downscaling in development following this decision, as Soto Intelligence and all of its assets will simply be reutilised in collaboration with Pisces AI. Koi, the AI assistant integrated across the Air ecosystem, will run on Pisces' servers and integral network, thus eliminating further competition from Intco's InarAI. While the move has been controversial on FTC's side, no investigation has been reported on the ₩58 billion ($37.6 million) deal as of yet.
Whatakane: Kaia-Ōtatara Hikurangi (I) has officially been elected as the Governor of Moake'an State (Kāwana o ngā Moakeā), following the two month long interim government under Nikau Yamada (L). Hikurangi has become the first independent politician to ever govern a state in the Union State, as well as the first woman to lead the State of Moake'a. Hikurangi, an outspoken Moake'an activist close to VP Keanu Mitsubara, ran her campaign focusing on language preservation, cultural heritage, combat against cost of living, natural disaster protection and tourism regulation. Hikurangi has also delivered bilingual speeches in both Moake'an and Kyonese, highlighting the dangerous trends in decline for Moake'an language use.

We did not expect to see him at Haland's holiday market, or even in Prydania of all places!
Can't believe I saw the guy who plays Thibault in Frozen Heart at a Sankt Þjóðkonar in downtown Haland! Caël was with his friends and they were all nice and friendly and chill. His Prydanian friend named Styr took this picture too! They said they were at the bookshop to look for limited edition Glacial Lords action figures available only in Prydania. He wasn't able find what he was looking for at the store. I don't know anything about robots but please @Ryesen give this man his toys because he deserves it!

Nirvana's CEO Kotaro Yagami will hold a press conference tomorrow at noon, likely hinting at his resignation from the position along with CFO Hong Bao Shin, according to expert speculations. Insider reports indicate a capital flight from AI investments while Nirvana's debt borders the ₩150 billion mark (IBU$884.8 million).
Innovation Valley: Nirvana Technologies is now facing one of the hardest challenges it has dealt with, as CEO Kotaro Yagami, CFO Hong Bao Shin and four board members officially resign from their positions today. Speaking at his latest and last press conference, Yagami has stated that Nirvana "needs a new direction, or else is doomed to fail", while the corporation itself has crashed by 11.46% on SHINEXT today due to investor scepticism and loss of financial backing from major banks, tied to its growing and unpaid debt of billions in Wan.
Here at Gossip Stew we have written extensively about Thespian Diva and how her attitude had led to her downfall. Previously a Cinema Coast A-lister, veteran actress Thespian Diva had now found herself running out of projects. Shunned from major characters in big movies, she had been relegated to only bit roles and TV roles, but recently we had never seen her at all on the screen. Gossip Stew finally pieced together why.
It seems that Thespian Diva had not realised how much her diva attitude had alienated people in the industry, so much so that she appears to have now been informally blacklisted from the major Cinema Coast production studios. We heard about it because our industry moles passed us information that the SAIS (the actor’s union) had ruled against Thespian Diva in a complaint.
Apparently, the last straw was a filming last November for a TV series. Thespian Diva was filming a scene with new-ish actor Cute Bethanian (this was before Cute Bethanian won an acting award). After the first take, Notable Director asked for another take because she was not satisfied. As Notable Director went to review the footage, Thespian Diva blamed Cute Bethanian for them having to do another take. According to witnesses, Thespian Diva belittled Cute Bethanian for his “amateurish performance”, scolded him for “not studying acting”, humiliated him thoroughly, and in some accounts, physically hit him. Cute Bethanian remained silent. Several witnesses confirmed that, Thespian Diva was so brash and abusive that the opinion about her on the set turned hostile. Hearing the commotion on the set, Notable Director went to see what was happening, and Thespian Diva lodged her complaints to Notable Director. Notable Director then shut down Thespian Diva by telling her that “I don’t have a problem with Cute Bethanian’s performance, he did great. I have a problem with YOURS.” Notable Director, apparently at her wit’s end too, lashed out at Thespian Diva, and it was now Thespian Diva’s turn to be humiliated. Thespian Diva stormed out of the set.
Notable Director then told the producers to cut her out of the production, even if it meant re-shooting some scenes and re-writing the script. Thus Thespian Diva lost her job.
Thespian Diva subsequently tried to audition for other roles in other shows but was rejected in all of them. Somebody seems to have passed to her the information that the major production studios had blacklisted her for her “unprofessionalism”. Because unfortunately for Thespian Diva, Cute Bethanian was related to the family who owned the production studio. Thespian Diva filed a confidential complaint at SAIS, accusing Cute Bethanian of sabotaging her career "by running to mommy to have me blacklisted".
This was the complaint where SAIS ruled against Thespian Diva. During the investigation, Thespian Diva’s accusation not only turned out to be false, but was also made in bad faith. It was around this time that Cute Bethanian was nominated for an acting award, and so she wanted to sabotage it by influencing the voters’ opinion. Cute Bethanian never told anyone what happened (even though the rumours spread quite widely, given that Thespian Diva’s meltdown was public). Apparently, it was Notable Director who reported Thespian Diva to the production studio, leading to her blacklisting. Given that blacklists are shared amongst other production studios as well, it resulted in Thespian Diva not being able to find work.
Also soon after the event, several actors in the production led by Gorgeous Celebrity, filed a confidential complaint against Thespian Diva at SAIS because Cute Bethanian politely declined to file a complaint. Gorgeous Celebrity and several other cast members thought that Thespian Diva was so out of line that she needed to be disciplined. (Considering that standards for entertainers are already low, this meant that Thespian Diva's actions were really that egregious.) SAIS did not act on Gorgeous Celebrity’s complaint because he was not a party to the issue. It meant, though, that SAIS knew the context before Thespian Diva made her complaint. So SAIS was able to use Gorgeous Celebrity’s filing as evidence against Thespian Diva, leading them to dismiss Thespian Diva’s complaint and rule against her. Her grandstanding backfired. Whatever sympathy she might have had are gone, with many actors now openly telling producers that they will not sign on to the production if Thespian Diva would also be involved. Other actors are aghast that Thespian Diva tried to ruin a young actor’s budding career to stop her own career’s self-destruction – so much so that there is a petition at SAIS to expel her from the union... which means she won't be able to find work anymore, given that almost the entire Santonian film industry are union jobs.
