It is not often that the Epiphanes considers joining an international organisation. Our experiences with the Novrith Pact and various attempts to form a worldwide governing body, prior to the War of Ideals, have very much coloured our perceptions of such things. There is one exception. The Iterian continent is unique on Eras in that it lacks a major power, a power through which the continent and its inhabitants are guided to the best way to achieve enlightenment in the scope of the Eleven. This lack of a major power opens up many opportunities, and as has been seen in the past, war is not a foreign concept to the nations of Iteria.

To prevent full self destruction of the continent and its nations, the Eleven believe that the Iterian League stands the best chance of doing so. To that end, the Eleven hereby requests entrance into the Iterian League. We do not make this request out of some sudden philanthropic urging, co-operation with the Iterian League will greatly help us to recover from the various wars that broke out after the ascension and separation of Caesar. During the War for the State, the Euripus Straits were mined and that vital waterway for world trade was closed. We currently lack the resources to fully locate and demine the straits and ask the Iterian League for any help they can provide.

Sarakhaid fidgeted with the cord of his robe nervously, the formal regalia itched and felt hot as he moved towards the podium, this was possibly the most significant and dangerous thing that Sarakhaid Na Ebesha would ever do. He cleared his throat and slowly lowered his cap from his head, braided hair flowed down the side of his sweating forehead as he reached for the microphone and spoke

'Representatives of the most noble League, I come before you today to beseech your aid and support, Astragons rightful ruler marches south to claim her throne alongside out Iraelian brothers and sisters, but the traitor Murza still sits in the capital like a plotting snake, I beseech the league on behalf of Sabhrain Na Kevsha, Denounce the traitor Murza, deny him funds, shelter, and praise!' His voice echoed through the chamber, it was loud and clear

He paused to let his words sink in, he could already count on Iraelian support but the others? Skanda was a wildcard and it was anyone's guess how Alnaria and Zhen would react, all the same, even flight bans and sanctions would be enough to hurt Murza, every denunciation gained here was another nail in the traitor's coffin.

'I come before this assembly to plead my lady exalt's case and to beg the assembled body to grant her their support in word and deed, stand with Astragon and we shall purge the traitor from our midst' he said his deep voice filling the chamber a second time

He bowed and took his seat 'And now we wait' he thought grimly, he had just thrown his lot in with Sabhrain Na Kevsha and possibly signed his own death warrant
 
Jie spoke gently but with the authority entrusted to her by her uncle, the Emperor himself, it was clear she was nervous to be there however.

"Ladies and Gentlemen of the esteemed Iterian League, I only just got here but I would like to say it is an honor to serve in these chambers and on behalf of the Zhen Empire, thank you for the invitation. With that being said.. The Empire does not consider Murza's regency to be legitimate, his tactics and ploys underhanded and most dishonorable and his crimes unforgivable. We are capable of much more than simple flight bans and embargoes, if you would have us we can join the fight to have the Exalted Empress on her throne within twenty-four hours."

Jie took to her seat again.

"Representives from nations all across Iteria, it is an absolute honor that the Cardinelean Nation is to even be considered for a position in the Iteria League. I am Diplomatic-Envoy Aramazt of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cardinele. Like Speaker Yeshurun said, I am here to Represent my nation in process that will decide whether our Republic joins the Iterian league or not. I will be the first to admit, Cardinele has its problems, but with cooperation between all sides it can rise with the rest of Eras into a place of prosperity. Thank you"

He Promptly sat back down.
 
Besinukuna,

For the past two centuries, Suqtantinsuyu has prized its ties to Iko (Skanda) that were enabled via. Timischa (Demescia). But in the nation's ever-growing interests in global environmental sustainability, and its own economic growth to pursue this goal, we look further to the rest of our neighbours on Iticha (Iteria).

As such the nation of Suqtantinsuyu requests admittance so the Iterian League, for a better future.

Qhora, while aligning the papers she was holding, stood up confidently.

"Suqtantinsuyu's inclusion within the League is something that not just us as a nation should be seeking out, but also what the member states of the League should be seeking out" she paused briefly to cough,

"Our nation is first and foremost an asset culturally and scientifically. What we bring to the table is a socially ingrained idea regarding the environment and respect for the wider world and, through the League, we can introduce our beneficial ways of thinking to the wider community. For example, our capital city of Tanpusqo is an entirely pedestrian city barring the free public transport.

What enables us to be this way is our utter dedication to the cause. We are a world leader in green sciences, producing not only some of the most innovative technology in this space but the most experienced engineers, scientists, and activists. What we can offer to the League and its members is access to these technologies and these experts for greater and more advanced co-operation in the long term.

In a similar vein, we can also open ourselves to Iterian experts and allow them the chance to collect data of and study our biodiversity, the functions of our society, and other such things for a better global perspective on different societies. " she paused to change her papers,

"We can also offer things to the League in an economic sense. While we extract our minerals on a small scale for the sake of the environment, our nation is extremely rich in lithium, zinc, and especially gold. If brought into the fold of the Iterian League we can open our mineral markets somewhat further for League members.

Lastly, admission to the League would further streamline the negotiations, relations, and conduct that we already have with League members, such as Skanda."

Qhora took a breath and sat down again.
 
"Thank you for your statements, Ms. Jie, Mr. Aramazty, and Ms. Mamani. We will take them all into consideration when we initiate our votes. If it is any reassurance your possible entrances into the League are looking bright from my point of view."

Hana snapped her sights onto Mr. Tai-Shun, a returning face from Skanda's eastern neighbor.

"To Mr. Tai-Shun of Ascalon, as of right now the Iterian League has not reconsidered moving back to Ascalon so soon after moving to Ardurelos. We will review this decision once more sometime early into 2020. Regardless, the Iterian League and myself are glad to have both Ascalon and you return. Let us hope that your subversive elements are truly dealt with and that your referendum runs smooth.

"Moving on with our agenda; as Ms. Yeshurun has pointed out, both the Epiphanes and Fuss have decided to seek out a membership before we could invite them. To the representatives of the Epiphanes and the Socialist Republic of Fuss, I invite you to please make your case to the Iterian League."

And as such, we will accept the invitation to join the Iterian League officially, and hope to become part of the Iterian League membership. He looked around nervously before returning to the script he held tightly in both hands. Today was not a good day for mistakes.

"We, the people of Fuss, have determined it prudent that our culture and way of life be shared with our neighbors. Lest we fall into isolation and be turned into a pariah state on the global stage. Our culture. My culture is one of community and brotherhood. One that I am sure all of Iteria can understand. My homeland is not the richest. It can not offer the most advanced scientific discoveries or precious materials. We can offer however our greatest asset. The people. We are ready to commit to any public projects for the league in the present and future. We will toil with smiles to build a better future for all us."

Radan nearly tore the sheet of paper in half at the end of his reading.
 
A woman in her early forties rose to speak, without notes and dressed in the green and purple of the Epiphanes flag. "Greetings, honoured delegations, and I express my sincerest apologies for the delay. Events in my homeland required my attention and this speech could not be left to a lesser official. Some of you may know me by the name of Rhoda Theodora, the eldest daughter of the ascended Caesar. I now go by the name Priene, the advocate. I am here at your invitation to make the case for the Epiphanes to join this illustrious league."

Priene brought a medallion out from a pocket, and held it aloft. "This is a medallion struck by Caesar over 1,000 years ago, restored very recently. On it is depicted the Epiphanes on one side, and on the other, Iteria. It represents the shared links and brotherhood the Epiphanes feels with all the nations of Iteria. My ancestors valued those links and today I honour them by hopefully achieving the restoration of our traditional role as a partner to the wider Iterian community. From the days of Hanectores Nwa-Ezeudinos Ndunesokosos to Shaddan the Red Emperor to more recent times, we have long respected the strength, adaptability and versatility of our fellow Iterians and the achievements you have all made to survive and thrive.

And thrive indeed you have, even beyond our own achievements. As we declined, you ascended. And now we speak, for the first time, as equals. And as equal, I say this - the Epiphanes needs your help. The wars that tore apart God Manifest are all but ended, but the damage they did was severe. We need help to rebuild our infrastructure, restore our capabilities and most importantly, to demine the Euripus Straits to re-open this vital waterway again." Priene looked around before continuing.

"Once the Straits are demined, the Epiphanes has so much to offer the members of the Iterian League, and as we recover, we will all, together, benefit. As the rest of Eras falls away behind us, Iteria will show itself to the centre of progress, civilisation and indeed, of the world. Thank you."

Sarakhaid rose to the podium and leaned in 'Noble representatives of the Epiphanes! Astragon hears your plea and in the spirit of Pan-Iterianism and good will we shall answer! We offer the Epiphanes funding, a regiment of our best military engineers to aid in reconstruction efforts and perhaps most importantly we are willing to deploy a squadron of minesweepers to aid in the opening of the strait, a strong and open Epiphanes will allow for a strong and independent Iteria'

Hana sipped from her (covered) travel mug. It had a rubber ducky style duck on the side of it.

“I apologize for the length of my tenure; the Iterian League required stable leadership during the move to Ardurelos but now I have overstayed my welcome here. For that I hope I can be forgiven, though I have not violated anything in the Constitution. Something I hope we an amend to include term limits and lengths. As my final act as Secretary-General I would like to firstly say the construction of the Pan-Iterian Railway has begun in Kuhena, Skanda.”

Dear Speaker Yeshurun and esteemed members of the Iterian League,

I am writing to you on behalf of the Principality of Kasu, The Honorable Kasugan Prime Minister Đinh V. Sayasone, and His Majesty, Prince Phoumsayang II, on expanding Kasu's cooperation with its Iterian neighbors and the rest of Eras. The Principality of Kasu offers its hand in international cooperation and will officially be requesting full membership within the Iterian League. Kasu and its people have had a long history within this continent, and we seek now to increase our diplomatic ties and contribute to the betterment of the Iterian continent. We fully believe that we can work together and maintain peace and stability across the continent via diplomatic cooperation.

We in the Principality of Kasu will respectfully be waiting for your response.

As time passed on, Shaamikh el-Attar looked towards a series of notecards he wrote before coming to the Iterian League. He read them quickly, making sure that he knew exactly what to say. When it was his time to stand up and talk, he placed the notecards in his pocket.

“Quite some time ago, Rafhazan was stuck fighting a civil war. Sons fought sons. In the end, Rafhazan was betrayed and taken over by the revolutionaries. Reforms were done that attempted to chip away Mehrabiism from Rafhazan, and destroy its traditions. In the end however, the revolutionaries failed, and Rafhazan still has all of its traditions and peace. Under the Social Republic, Rafhazan was isolated from its Iterian neighbors. We now are no longer isolated. Now, insurgents in the south of the nation demand the end of the Emirate, despite how much we saved the nation. Now… The Emir, he wants to open up the nation. We want to open up Rafhazan to Iteria. We no longer want to be isolated. For that reason, we would like to join the Iterian League. Thank you.”

He sat down almost immediately.
 
The interruptions while counting up the candidates had not been expected but certainly these could only be good things.

"Ladies and gentlemen of the Iterian League, I apologize, but it appears we will need to do a special vote. We have finally received a reply from the Rafhazani representative as you heard. Furthermore we have received word that the Principality of Kasu wishes to join the Iterian League. If there are no objections I will be commencing three simultaneous votes. We will be voting on the admittance of Rafhazan and Kasu, and additionally we will be voting on the submitted candidates."
