Tonight on the the Avalonian News Network, this just in, an AL (Avalonian-Leviathan) exploratory mission stumbles upon the remnants of an abandoned colonial fringe settlement. Scientists have reported that the abandoned space shuttle found on the surface seems to be Dominion in nature, with later findings being indicative of this. None of the initial settlers were found; neither were their remains. "It's like they just got up and left," said an officer in charge of the mission, "We can't find traces of anything significant that would indicate a reason for them to leave." As the Leviathan seeded the planet, our Queen says that the soil quality, although initially graded as fertile, was actually less indicative of that observation the deeper the seeds went. "The soil integrity deteriorates rapidly," she says, "it's quite possible that the more I spread my roots, I'll find pockets devoid of any nutrients at all. This would indicate this theory of farming communal degradation."
The Leviathan plans on rehabilitating the planet to prep it for integration. The Avalonian Navy is currently overseeing the movement of necessary organisms needed for this to happen. We will keep you updated on our Queen's efforts. That's all for now!

The Council of Paragons is aware of the ongoing conflict between Avalon and the Constantinus Imperium on and in the vicinity of the system of Eros. At this time the Council will not pursue any direct reaction. The Council has however ordered Admiral Zenin of the 5th to move his fleet into the border system of Arnia to ensure the safety of its inhabitants. The Arnian Defense Forces have also been placed on high alert, and shall remain that way until such time as it is proven peace has been restored to the region.
Elections for the Federal Chancellor have concluded on all Jorthan worlds, and polling results have concluded that Major General Dagur has been re-elected as the Federal Chancellor. His margin of victory was much greater than when he ran for his first term in 2946. It is expected he will visit several star systems on his victory tour. Long live the Federal Chancellor! Following a large military drill on the outer edges of Dominion Space in honor of Dominion Day the Emperor has announced a new class of warship.
