The Fujulbic were a young race by Galactic standards, they were still broken into primitive nations warring with each other, and had just managed to put crude satellites into orbit in the last half century. Although in recent years, great strides had been made in planetary peace and talks were underway for joint ventures to establish research outposts on a nearby lunar object. It was truly a great time to be alive. That is, it was a great time until a orbital telescope detected a number of objects heading straight for the planet at a tremendous speed. The Fujulbic scientists calculated that an impact from the objects would cause an extinction level event and began to prepare shelters and stores of food. But then the unexpected happened. The objects began to slow down, then they began to change vectors. The Fujulbic learned they were not alone in the universe. As the various governments bickered over who and how to contact the fleet, it drew ever closer, until one day the Fujulbic looked up ad the stars were gone in patches, and in there place hung large ships, menacingly in low orbit.

The nuclear barrage devastated the cities and troop concentrations, coming out of the blue on the fifth day after the fleet's arrival. Retaliatory strikes managed to bring down one of the invaders. Though soon swarms small craft were plummeting down from the larger ships and delivering troops to do battle. Wave after wave crashed into the remaining Fujulbic defences, mere probing attacks to feel out the defences were followed by waves of infantry, charging over land and dropping behind the lines in small craft. The invaders were merciless, the few Fujulbic that survived soon learned not to go near any of the massive installations now sucking the resources from their planet or the factories springing up to produce whatever the invaders needed to do the same to the next system.

AFTER ACTION REPORT OF: General #472
RESULT: Planet subjugated 0.25 solar rotations ahead of schedule
UNITS LOST: 7,365,000
UNIT DEFICIT REPORT: Losses far below expected range, objective two timeline moved forward 3 months
EQUIPMENT LOSS: 1 MK7 hospital ship (direct nuclear hit), 328 MK6 PABs (Acceptable range) 98 MK9 MBT (Below anticipated levels)
EQUIPMENT DEFICIT REPORT; Losses within acceptable range, resupply possible to maintain accelerated timetable
REPORT ON LOCAL POPULACE: Current estimate 2 million local populace survive. Recommend planetary sweep by rear echelon to sterilise planet. Risk of resistance LOW, however resource procurement cannot be risked. Estimate complete populace expiration post sterilisation 3 solar rotations.
