Krevti cities have been put on high alert after more than 1,000,000 Krevtis received Terror Threat messages.Various Bomb Threats were received. The Armed Forces have concluded that the High Speed Rail Corridor and Cities along the National Ring Expressway are the major targets. The City Police Force have tightened up the security and are doing strict check of each Vehicle moving in Krevti Borders.
More Updates Soon. The Military has suspected that this large scale spamming of messages is done by a group of more than 1000 people.
The Schools, Colleges and Offices have been shut down till next Tuesday.
Citizens have been advised not to worry and stand with the military.

The Craviter Infrastructure Stimulus Bill today has officially passed in the legislature allowing the funding of large scale infrastructure projects throughout Craviter to that of Maloria and Kanada. The bill was spearheaded by the UFP and supported by the EVG as well only isolating the NRV. Leader of the NRV and former Chancellor Lukas Kent said today in the legislature’s chambers that the bill would quote “Raise the debt to untold levels” however members of the UFP have doubted the stating that even more additional funding can be achieved by overturning the hordes of tax cuts on the rich passed by the NRV.


This bill is seeing the creation of railroads, highways, roads, bridges, and ports built from our empire to the nations of Prydania and Norsia with the roads and highways along with other land routes being primarily connected from Bergum into those said nations. The costs of these infrastructure projects are being primarily being paid for by our government, however, the fellow nations benefitting from this deal will pay annually back to the Imperial Government to help pay back the costs. This way we can reduce trade barriers within the member nations of the Bergum Pact and facilitate better trade with one another. In the case of Arrandal however, roads and other forms of infrastructure will be built without connecting to Maloria but Maloria will continue to build ports inside of Arrandal.


Like previously stated ports and the like are going to be built as well inside of Norsia, Prydania, and Arrandal. This hopefully will also play a part in lifting the war-torn nations of Craviter back up to their former economic glory. Who can say if it will besides the future?


In other news several events have been held recently in Norsia in primarily key cities in support of Social Feudalism. In recent news, the country of Yugobatania has recently become one of the leading nations in the world in terms of insurance, reaching the top 4% worldwide, and the top 3% within the North Pacific. Basket weaving comes in second, with Yugobatania reaching the top 7% worldwide and withing the North Pacific.

Many basket weaving experts agree that in the near future, Yugobatania will become one of the top basket weaving nations in the world. As one proffesional basket weaver puts it, "I always thought that baskets were outdated with backpacks - I guess we were wrong!"

And due to the 43.3% of death by heart disease, and 6.7% by murder, it's no surprise that many life insurance companies have become rich with various clients all across Yugobatania.

New Material Discovered in Ural Mountains

The Ural Mountains, a vast mountain range stretching from the North to South of Yugobatania, has been recently discovered to be hiding a new steel-like material.

The new material is being called “stoele” (sto-le). It has a very dark color like charcoal, and is very lightweight. But it holds a secret, as scientists within the Geographical Ministry of Yugobatania have discovered that it is 10 times stronger than steel!

The Supreme President of Yugobatania is brining up plans to use this material for all of Yugobatania. This includes buildings, transportations, and the one many are excited about: military applications.

“It’s a very exciting prospect,” says the Supreme President. “Imagine, an invincible tank or airplane, charging towards the enemy. Hell yeah!”

The Supreme President has the authorizes the construction of mines within the Ural Mountains to extract the stoele. Due to concerns about labor wages, he has alos imposed strict fair labor policies to ensure that the workers hard work won’t be in vain.

Yugobatania is also open to trade this material, but at a very expensive price.

Preparations are underway for East Pordan's first foreign official visitors. All branches of government are in high gear in anticipation of the visit of nearby Pyrdania. While some have suggested this is an odd move considering the stark differences in government, the Central Committee reassures the Pordinian people that "both countries share an interest following the defeat of a fascist enemy".

The visit, of which no official date has yet been announced, is expected to place East Pordan in a firm position on the world stage, and it has even been suggested that some kind of bilateral agreement may be proposed.

Today we saw the first ever ceremony of the government of Malor-Kanada being handed over. At the formation of the Empire, it was agreed that the government would reside in Bergum for the Fall and Winter, and Kalgary for the Spring and Summer. The Armoury in the Old City was going through conversion to a modern Imperial Parliament, down Third Gt. from Kanada's parliament building. It was a public event, and crowds came to observe Malorian Palace and Government guards hand over control, and the original signed paper of the Malor-Kanadian constitution. Construction has began on a high speed railroad across Malor-Kanada, with a map being released showing the line stretching from Kalgary, to Fort Sean, then south towards Bergum. This line may be eventually expanded into Norsia and Prydania.

LETZTESTADT, HI — A football field which barely meets minimum size requirements just 4 miles from Highton's eastern border is home to one of the most incredible underdog stories in Hightonian sports this year. The small mountain village of Letztestadt, the "Last Town the commonly known as the nation's furthest east settlement, and has a population of just under 1,000. For most of its history, the local team, Vaasa Pallosport (commonly known as Vaasa PS), has played in Highton fifth tier in the Rixion Regional League. This team, founded in 1988, tended to be a fun away trip for the other teams in the league to make a visit to the beautiful mountain range. In 2011, Vaasa secured promotion to the Eastern Premier League where they competed against teams from across both Hightonia and Cocoland. At this point, it was the only team in its division without any seated spectator space. When they qualified for the promotion playoffs in 2016 and moving up to the HFA Second League seemed like a real possibility, many questioned whether they should be allowed to be promoted as their facilities were tiny compared to even the mostly semi-pro H2L teams. After a fourth-place finish in the league, Vaasa won the playoffs at home in front of a few hundred spectators and gained promotion to the HFA Second League. Led by Gregor Tylvin, a 27-year-old from Nola, Pallosport survived in the H2L in the 2016/17 season and have since survived every season to set up a stunning campaign in 2018/19. This year, Vaasa kicked off right from the beginning to push for promotion and have only lost three matches this season. Tylvin leads the league in goals this year with 16. At every match, the flag of the Rixion Empire is displayed which is somewhat controversial as it has been used by Rixions who want to reclaim the former lands of the Empire for Highton. The flag of the Empire also appears on the logo and has been a topic of debate. But with just nine matches remaining in the season for the Mountain Boys and with West Alexandria several points behind, the bright lights of the second tier are within touching distance for this village on the edge of the nation.

Predice is preparing for elections. According to the Electoral Comission of Predice's poll, a conservative government is likely, with a strong lead of 22 seats in the Chamber of Deputies.
The Treasury reports 4.8% growth in the first quarter of this year. This is good growth for the Predicean economy, and shows a hopeful future. According to the Treasury, 238 startups have been started since November last year.

TRANSCRIPT: Den Standkamer Panel Discussion on the Upcoming Election

Kari: And we bring you now to Den Standkamer, to talk about the spectre that is the 2019 federal election- a spectre rapidly growing in size...and shadow. On April 6, Vallanders will be going to the polls to decide the MVs for their districts, as well as senators to represent their cantons. Many people, as usual, are term-limited and many others are running for reelection. On paper it seems like your standard, garden-variety federal election, but with this one, as we all know, there's a lot more at stake and a lot has changed in the last 7 years. I'm Kari Lunde, and with me now is our panel: Anders Grosvaar, political scientist and professor at Draanikaarus University; Jacob Almås, vice chairman of the Avgåd Foundation, and our own Pieter Velbryn. I'll start with Anders; what do you think about how this election is changing Vallish politics.

Anders: Well, I think, first and foremost, we have to talk about the media. Obviously we're sitting here, but every organization from the smallest of local publications to network television- I mean, especially network television- are really into this. I mean, y'know, you kinda have to be. You've got 24 hour news cycles constantly keeping people updated. People get newsletters; they see flutts; they-

Jacob: Can we stop right there for a moment, because you just hit something especially important alongside those 24 hour news cycles, which is social media.

Anders: Oh, yeah. Absolutely.

Jacob: I mean, social media revolutionized this campaign season. All the contending parties used it in some form, but with varying applications, from Lotte Jensen's motivational quotations to Mark Solberg's frequent statistical displays. And among those, Fluttr was by far the one with the largest attention, as well as the biggest battleground. Outside of Vogland, of course.

Pieter: *Chuckles* I think you're forgetting someone.

Jacob: I was saving best for last. I mean, you can't talk about this election and not talk about Mark Hellstrand. The man's been blazing through the entire national political system, leaving both fans and flames in his wake.

Anders: That's a good way to put it. I mean, you're talking about a man who, in late 2017, less than two years ago, essentially took a fringe political party that no one had ever heard of and, to put it crudely, grabbed it by the balls.

Pieter: That's quite the description, and it's not really wrong. The Federalist Party now is nothing like the Federalist Party then- hell, it could be said that it's the opposite of what it was then. You know, now you have this dynamo of a populist party, where before, it was small, more moderate except for its single-issue purpose, and essentially run by the Kelten family.

Anders: I think others within the party wanted change, though. Hellstrand won the leadership election with, I think, 82% of the vote, and solidified himself quickly. I mean, this is a man who's been in the public sphere for decades. He knows his stuff. He's been an actor, a businessman, and had a stint in lobbying, albeit brief- so he's really seen it all when it comes to national politics, and I think it's become abundantly clear he doesn't like any of it.

Pieter: Oh, that's for sure. Hellstrand's broken all the rules and he really doesn't care about that much at all. He's insulted his opponents, he's gone off script on much of his speeches, and, of course, he frequently rants on Fluttr. Whether you hate him or love him, it's undeniable that his flutts are raw, unvarnished, uncensored, and honest. The man speaks his mind.

Jacob: And though that's made him a lot of enemies, it's really helped him gain a base. Federalist candidates are popping up all over the country, from north to south. The media is obsessed with him. I mean, hell, we're sitting right here now talking about him. What remains to be seen is whether he'll initiate a hostile takeover of national politics or whether he'll come up short, but bottom line, to analogize with soccer terms, the Federalists are going up to the premier league of politics regardless of whether they score a goal or not.

Kari: I think, on that note, we should talk about Lotte Jensen.

Jacob: Yeah. Because when it comes to the question of whether Hellstrand and the Federalists will win it all or not, it comes down to Jensen. The CDP is likely to hold on to the core of the North, but in this election it's not just middle Valland that will be a battleground. It'll be the South as well. Jensen needs to hold the South if she wants her party to win.

Anders: If Hellstrand manages to gain enough momentum to steal the South from the Messianist Democrats, it could very well give the CDP the election, or even the Federalists if they manage to get enough districts. It should be submitted, though, that Jensen's been very good at appealing to northern suburban voters, and I think that's gonna help her hold on stronger, and mitigate the risk of losing the South. And if she holds on to the South? The Messianist Democrats will doubtless win.

Pieter: Personally, I attribute her success with suburban and upper middle class communities to her personality. I think voters see in her both a motherly compassion and a fighting spirit, and they see in her charisma to match Hellstrand, but of a more composed variety, which is a good combination when you're talking about that demographic.

Anders: Yeah, I agree, and I think she's definitely turning up as the face, really, of anti-Hellstrand sympathy. Solberg, in that department, has just fallen short, plain and simple. From what I've seen, to a lot of voters he just comes off as a queasy old man who yells a lot, though his base sees that differently.

Jacob: *Chuckles* He does yell a lot, though. Anything Jensen's said to criticize Hellstrand, Solberg has said louder. And he's said it in more radical terms. I don't think he's entirely to blame, though- a lot of it was circumstantial. He took over the party following the Vikstad Beach Scandal, when the CDP completely failed to adequately address Goyanean Liberal Democrat leader Alexander Bijner's antics in the region. That created this leftist anger that's really permeated the CDP, and Solberg seems to be perfectly fine with it. Ultimately, though, going back to Jensen? I think it's going to be either her or Hellstrand. The CDP just doesn't have enough momentum at the moment outside its own base.

Jacob: We should also mention the Centrist Union. Their situation during this campaign season is an interesting one, to say the least. They've seen stagnation and a double-hung legislature since 2012, and I think it's become clear that their movement is not as viable as it once was. You know, the world's becoming more connected, and especially as Valland's tech industry is becoming more sophisticated, it's becoming harder for Valland to not be an active part of regional politics, and really get its name out there; especially in an increasingly uncertain world.

Anders: Yeah. And I think the Centrist Union knows this. What you're seeing is the Centrist Union becoming less of a movement and more of a mediatory force. This campaign's been absolutely vicious, and I think the Centrists have been able to take advantage of that. They've been trying to mediate between the other three parties, and if they really seize on that position? They'll definitely be able to go places, and mitigate any losses they may incur.

Kari: Finally, before we wrap up, it has to be asked: what are the likely battleground cantons for this election?

Pieter: A lot. Too many to name, I would say. Obviously you've got the usual ones like Vogland, Brussingen, Lappen, et cetera, but there may also be battles in Glarus, Jura, Midtkandal, even ones like Versør, Halsen, and Nidaros. Nidaros. I mean, the variables are all over the place here. It's really anybody's game.

The Doge called the last meeting of the current Parliament today. This shall discuss Predice's future after the election.
The elections come on the 5th. According to polling, there will be a strong Conservative Government. The Predicean Government has ordered that campaign billboards be torn down by the 3rd. The PNP will be preparing for potential election night violence.
In Defence news, the first 12 C-6 Giulia tanks have entered service with the 11th Armoured Battalion of the 3rd Armoured Brigade of the Predicean Army. The tanks will be "A strong boost to national defence" according to Minister of National Defence Pietro Badogili.

The South Gotic Cultural Organization (SGCO) has announced that the first ever South Gotic Games will take place in Highton later this month until early May. The SCGO is an organization that promotes cultural and international exchange between South Gotic nations, with its headquarters in Frankthorf, six nations have already joined the organization. The games themselves is not just limited to countries as for the individual sports ethnic South Gotics who reside in non member states, primarily the Ninhundish communities in neighbouring nations are represented as Team Gothis and other South Gotics from elsewhere as Rest of Eras.


With sports ranging from Football, Hockey, Basketball, Athletics, to many others, it’ll be the largest venue of its kind and one of the largest sports competitions. SGCO President, Heino Flammerloch stated in during the community meeting, “I’m very existed that this can become a possibility! Despite being citizens of different nations, all South Gotics can compete together as one. This could not have be done without the supports and all of our sponsors in which we own a huge Thank You.”

Klaus auf Hettenberg has announced his intention to retire following the upcoming elections for the position of Federation High Chancellor. Hettenberg was instrumental in helping bring the Federation into existence, and his work has been instrumental to the unification of the Vestrugat.

“I was already retired when King Sherwin asked me to run,” he told reporters during a press conference. “I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished, and glad of this opportunity.”

Despite a few hiccups along the way (the Night of the Bells bombing, the Aernish free state vote) Hettenberg’s tenure has been one of success. He spoke of his hopes for the future and for the Federation, and hoped for Aela’s guidance in choosing the next leader.

“But I’m 76 years old,” he finished. “I want to spend my last few days on a warm beach and with my great grand-kids.”

Ceretis-Callise Rail Connection Furthers Two Nations Close Friendship

There is much excitement in Callise today, as the final leg of a several year long infrastructure project connecting Ceretis and Callise is finished. The two nations, which are treatied allies and share a cultural history, have always had a close bond and this infrastructure deal furthers as much.

Callise and Ceretis have always been close. In the mid 1000s BCE, the first Calliseans migrated from Ceretis during the brutal Foxek wars, and ever since have always maintained a close friendship and cultural bond. During the Wars of the Republic, Callise refused to engage in conflict with the nation of Ceretis. During the rise of the Nationalist League, Callise continued to maintain close ties with Ceretis whilst cutting ties with many other major nations. And even in the present day, while Callise is cutting trade ties to major allies like Maloria, Ceretis remains as close to Callise as ever. And this project is evidence of it.

The deal, which includes the construction of a network of high speed rail trains underneath the Phoenix Strait, has greatly increased connections between the two countries and makes travel much easier. In the span of several hours, one can travel between the two nations with relative ease and with very little friction from the customs enforcement of both nations. This deal shall mark the beginning of an even brighter future for relations between the two nations.

Ulstome National News Network

Our next story today relates to the ministry of defence.

Earlier today the Ministry of Defence of Ulstome has released their plans for the "Guardian Upgrade", this is an upgrade for the Rochester Mk2's that currently serves as the Main Battle Tank of the Ulstome Army. In a statement from the Ministry of Defence which is releasing all the information that we currently know about the Guardian Upgrade.
"We are proud to be working with Ulstome Ordinace, as we have done numerous times in the past, to deliver the best possible result of this upgrade for our armoured forces. What information at this time we can release is that we will be upgrading the Rochester Mk2 to have a 130mm main gun, an upgrade from the current 120 mm that is currently in use which will greatly increase its firepower. Furthurmore there will be improvements on the optics of the Rochester Mk2 to increase its capabilities at night and in poor weather visibility conditions. That is all we can say for now."
This decision has received much praise by people who have been concerned that the Ulstome armoured forces may end up lagging behind other nations whilst others have staunchly criticised the decision, stating that it is a waste of money that should be spend elsewhere.
However the government has stood by its decision despite these criticisms and has repeated multiple times that it is "Dedicated to the protection of Ulstome and her people".

Now onto our next story.......

Due to recent reports of the military of Sutherland performing military exercises on the border of McMasterdonia, the Mondic government is calling on Sutherland to halt these exercises. We acknowledge that the government of Sutherland is worried about McMasterdonian troops near the border, however, the only reason the McMasterdonian government has moved troops towards the border is that Gunrei-aligned extremist groups are still wreaking havoc on cities near the border, killing innocent civilians. The Mondic government will do everything in its power to guarantee that the McMasterdonian government does not order a preemptive attack on Sutherland, as doing so would violate Article 1 of the Kian Union charter of seeking to solve international issues diplomatically. However, we also acknowledge that the Mondic government has recognized Sutherland's independence from McMasterdonia, despite this, if Sutherland continues to inflame tensions between itself and McMasterdonia as it is doing currently, the Mondic government will not hesitate to sever diplomatic ties with the government of Sutherland. On top of this, if Sutherland fires at McMasterdonian forces first, the Mondic government will not hesitate to adhere to Article 5 of the Kian Union charter, bringing the full force of its military to bear to defend its close ally of McMasterdonia. If this happens, the Kingdom of Valencia would also be obligated to declare war on Sutherland. Therefore, we are calling on Sutherland to halt its current military exercises in order to cool down tensions before they escalate to the point of no return. To ensure that peace is reached between Sutherland and McMasterdonia, the Mondic government is calling on both governments to come to the table, mediated by the Mondic government, and reach some sort of settlement or ceasefire in order to avoid war breaking out on the Meterran continent.

BREAKING: Thane, Sutherland reclaimed by armed militia

An armed militia of approximately 2000 McMasterdonian men and women have swept into Sutherland and seized the territory of Thane.

The stealth attack occurred in the early morning of Thursday when the armed grouped struck while residents were sleeping. After overcoming mild resistance, the militia once again raised the McMasterdonian flag over the territory and banners of the Queen Mother and the Prince Richard were displayed in prominent locations throughout the territory.


The militia is not affiliated with the Royal McMasterdonian Armed Forces, Minister of Defence Ezster Rahani confirmed in a brief press conference at the Ministry of Defence in Intelligentsia. "Nevertheless" Minister Rahani said "The best path forward for peace in McMasterdonia is for the illegitimate rebels that claim to be the government of Sutherland to allow the McMasterdonian Armed Forces to restore order".

In a brief address to the nation on morning television, The Queen Mother stated that while she had no knowledge of the militia's intentions, there was honour in those men and women fighting for what they believe, and that she would not condemn sons and daughters of McMasterdonia who fight to restore what is theirs. "I would sooner condemn myself to death that condemn a warrior for fighting for the honour of their homeland" the Queen Mother said.

The Queen Mother stated that Sutherland must listen to Midir and other governments of Kian and Meterra and begin to transition back to full McMasterdonian rule, insisting that this was the best path to a peaceful resolution.

Chancellor Jessica Whitwell informed the Senate that the militia's actions were almost certainly linked to the unnecessary escalation of military activity within the Sutherland province of McMasterdonia and that this retaliatory response was a result of McMasterdonian citizens fearing for their own security.

Due to the actions that have been taken by the McMasterdonian militia, the Mondic government is calling on the McMasterdonian government to order the militia out of Sutherland, we are also calling on the Sutherlan government to not fire on the McMasterdonian troops if they come in to remove the militia. If Sutherland fires upon the McMasterdonian troops that come in to remove the militia, then the Mondic government will declare war on Sutherland. However, if McMasterdonia uses the militia's actions as leverage to take land from Sutherland, then the Mondic government will not aid McMasterdonia in the war that would inevitably break out, since in that case, McMasterdonia would be violating Article 1 of the Kian Union that states that member nations will settle international disputes diplomatically. The Mondic government wishes that this dispute can be solved without devolving into a war.

After hearing of reports of the Sutherlan military pushing the militia out of Thane and Princess Theodora's death, we are urging both Sutherland and McMasterdonia to come to the table in Mondari and work out a way to de-escalate this situation. On top of that, we are urging the Sutherlan government to condemn the actions of the citizens that murdered the late Princess and to halt any further military actions.

Grand Moot Declared Only Authority in Essalanea

In the Year since the Karg War ended there has been much speculation as to the steps that High Chief Volkmann would take in order to initiate his proposed plan of modernization, that speculation has today been granted clarity. A new grand moot of the clans will now administer the great steppe as its central government, with High Chief Volkmann as its highest authority. The fiercely independent chiefs of Essalanea have largely been cowed into submission, both by the crushing defeat of the Karg and the promises of positions upon this new council. The first session of the Grand Moot was held today with Chief Otto of Clan Rugen being elevated to High Judge of Essalanea, more appointments are expected to follow in the coming weeks.

Tensions In McMasterdonia: Lancerian & Archegnum Officials Encourage Diplomatic Solutions

Prime Minister Isaac Oudinot led a series of statements from government officials today encouraging the resolution of current tensions between McMasterdonia and Sutherland through diplomatic and co-operative means.

"War is at this point entirely unnecessary." he said, "I remain optimistic that both sides may come to the table and work through these issues without creating further instability in a region that has experienced so much."

Across the border, Archegnum Minister of Foreign Affairs Albert Sinclair made a similar statement, noting the lasting effects of the costs that have been paid thus far by the people, infrastructure, and economy of the region.

Critics were quick to point out Royal Lancerian Navy ships headed South-East in the direction of McMasterdonian waters, claiming a clear hypocrisy considering Lanceria's previous roles in McMasterdonian civil strife. Prime Minister Oudinot refused to comment.

Goyanes comments on Sutherland sovereignty crisis

GOJANNESSTAD, NYHETT- Earlier today the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defense made comments regarding the recent Sutherland sovereignty crisis. In each, they echoed similar statements; Goyanes will stand by Sutherland, but wishes for a peaceful resolution. Early this morning, an armed citizens' militia from McMasterdonia swept into Thane County of Sutherland, seizing the territory until Sutherlan forces managed to take back the vast majority of the county. Many were alarmed by this seemingly out-of-the-blue attack by the militia.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ken Lorge, stated that "Goyanes is committed to ensuring that a peaceful resolution is reached between Sutherland and McMasterdonia," and that "Goyanes will do everything it can to avoid the prospect of armed conflict." While echoing the same sentiment, the Minister of Defense, Admiral Steven van Krønno, declared that "while Goyanes supports a comprehensive diplomatic resolution to this crisis, all options are on the table," and that "Goyanean forces are monitoring developments closely to have a complete grasp on the situation."

Despite the statements made by Admiral van Krønno, Vice Admiral Storolf Heimark confirmed to members of the press that the Imperial Navy was sending ships to monitor the situation. He stated that "the Imperial Navy will be closely monitoring the situation and providing valuable assets to our military and intelligence communities. Nonetheless, we will remain at a safe distance to minimize interference until ordered otherwise."

Minutes before the statement by the vice admiral, observers noted an already replenished division of five warships leaving the naval base at Jægerstrom. According to initial reports, the division consists of the cruisers HMS Krakensund and HMS Orsund, and the destroyers HMS Åsgardsfjord, HMS Akershus, and HMS Hønefass. It is unknown if any submarines have joined the division, and such information will most likely not be made public.

The Queen Mother of McMasterdonia and several other prominent members of their government seemingly endorsed the attack conducted by the militia, including the Minister of Defense, Ezster Rahani, who stated that "the illegitimate rebels that claim to be the government of Sutherland [should] allow the McMasterdonian Armed Forces to restore order."

It was also revealed later this morning that the Duchess of Foreveraire was assassinated in her sleep by radicals. It is unknown how this will impact long-term processes for a peaceful resolution, but most hypothesize that this will have adverse effects on future action regarding the crisis.

Current speculation among analysts believe that the Arc-Wondress of Sutherland, Nathan Jarreau, will be on his way to Goyanes to convene with the senior leadership of the Goyanean military. Furthermore, it is believed that Goyanes will station an air wing and mechanized infantry battalion for the near future in Sutherland, and will be providing extensive military assistance to the Diadem (armed forces) of Sutherland.

Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to a RAP Special Report. I am Giuseppe Garpa. This Special Report is being made due to the ongoing crisis in Sutherland. The Doge has stated that a Peaceful solution must be found before the crisis escalates to war. The Ministry of Defence held an emergency press conference today. When asked by our reporter if mobilisation was possible, the Minister responded with “Yes, there is a real possibility of calling at least a partial mobilisation.” The Commander of the Predicean Navy stated to the press that “The current crisis has real potential to become a world war.”
The Chief of the General Staff of the Predicean Armed Forces stated that “All that can be done, must be done to ensure Predice’s safety.” The Head of the Office of Civil Defence of the Ministry of the Interior has said that “Preparations have been made to provide shelter for as many Prediceans as possible.”
On the ground, the Diadem (Armed Forces) of Sutherland have successfully pushed a pro McMasterdonian militia out of the majority of Sutherlan territory, but fighting continues. Goyanes has shown solidarity with Sutherland and there have been rumours that it will be sending a Mechanised Infantry Battalion to Sutherland. The Stance of the Syrixian Empire is currently unknown. Statement from the Crimson Berets Corps

AVON, KALTÍ - On behalf of Alexander Holht, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Most Serene Kingdom of Merilia, we are greatly concerned by the state of affairs currently unfolding between McMasterodia and Sutherland. While the Government of Merilia has not taken a public stance on recognizing Sutherland as an independent nation due to the Kingdom's neutrality, we wish to reaffirm the Kingdom's commitment to the stance that a people should have the right to self-determination and self-governance and to decide for themselves how they should be ruled. We urge both sides to exercise restraint and to come to the negotiating table to end the hostilities before they spiral out of control. As such, the Crimson Berets Corps have re-positioned the S.H.H. Thala to monitor the situation as it unfolds.

With the situation on the McMasterdonian-Sutherlan border becoming more precarious, we urge other nations not to send any troops or military equipment, including ships and planes, as this could cause either side to become worried or emboldened enough to launch the first strike. We appreciate the nations that want to protect Sutherland's sovereignty, however, this situation is very delicate and every move should be taken with immense care. In response to the comments by the Norsian government, we appreciate the situation that Norsia has been in for two decades, we recognize that Norsia has had its national image beaten down time after time, however the declaration by Queen Alycia's government could end up emboldening Sutherland into making more reckless moves in relation to McMasterdonia, therefore if Norsia could refrain from taking the next step of sending troops, we would appreciate that immensely; granted, this is just a request and Norsia would be well within its rights to send troops, we would appreciate the Norsian government's complete cooperation on this situation. Now, we have also seen moves taken by the Goyanean government. The deployment of ships into international waters near Sutherland is well within their rights, however we would appreciate it if the Goyanean Imperial Navy does not move the ships into the waters of McMasterdonia or Sutherland. However, we do appreciate the Goyanean government's pledge to help get the situation under control diplomatically, if the Goyanean government wishes to help the Mondic government solve this diplomatically, it would be seen as a sign of good faith on the part of Goyanes. Now, due to the situation advancing towards possible war, President Roman has sent a proposal to Congress to repeal the Mondic Non-Proliferation Bill, President Roman has stated that "While the Non-Proliferation Bill was very progressive, if a war breaks out with a nuclear power, Mondari has no deterrent stopping said nuclear power from striking Mondic soil with a weapon that could kill millions." Congress has stated that they will hold a special session to discuss revoking the MNPB.

TELEVISED STATEMENT BY THE QUEEN MOTHER

Earlier this evening, I ordered the 13th squadron of the Royal Special Forces to enter the McMasterdonian province of Sutherland to restore order and remove the unauthorised militia forces from power. In so doing, our elite warriors were successful in retrieving a number of prisoners of war who had been held hostage by the Sutherland rebels.

I have personally attended to the state of these prisoners upon their return to Intelligentisa. Their honour and bravery is unquestionable and their spirits remain high, it was clear that they were severely malnourished and clearly were the subject of torture during their captivity.

In response to our successful operation, the Arc-Wonderess personally ordered the removal of the dedicated security forces responsible for the protection of the Duchess Theodora of Foreveraire. In so doing, the Arc-Wonderess condemned an 86 year old woman, who had lived in the Sutherland province her entire life, to a most violent of deaths.

Duchess Theodora was a caring and devoted mother and grandmother, a highly respected member of the royal caucuses, and a long time resident of Sutherland. A province that she continued to believe was one of the most beautiful in McMasterdonia and one that will always remain McMasterdonian.

I hold the Arc-Wonderess Nathan Jarreau personally responsible for the death of this icon of Sutherland and McMasterdonia. It is the Arc-Wonderess' actions that have led to this gentle elderly woman to be violently smothered in her bed while she slept.

I say to all McMasterdonians; whether they be of Intelligentsian, Caspian, or Sutherland in origin, I will not allow this brutal murder of Duchess Theodora to go unpunished. This deserves a proportionate response. In time, all who are responsible, will pay a proportionate price, and those who attempt to cover up or shield those who are responsible, will be treated as equally guilty.

BREAKING: Shots Fired at Arc-Wonderess Nathan Jarreau

We are receiving reports that multiple gun shots have been fired at Arc-Wonderess Nathan Jarreau as he was visiting Foreveraire reportedly to pay respects to the murdered Duchess Theodora of Foreveraire.

It is believed that the Arc-Wonderess was hit by at least three shots fired from an unidentified handgun. The Arc-Wonderess was taken from the scene by his security.

The status of the Arc-Wonderess at this time is not known.

Federalist Party Swept into Mensedag in Stunning Repudiation of the Establishment

NIDAROS- Vallanders registered their dismay and frustration with Nidaros' political establishment on Friday, April 6, 2019, handing a party both relatively new in the national scene and widely considered irrelevant the largest share of seats in both the Vårtinget and the Lånsevar. The surprise outcome defied polls that showed the Messianist Democratic and Confederation Development Parties coming in 1st and 2nd respectively.

For the party's leader, Mark Hellstrand, an actor and entrepreneur-turned politician with no government experience, the results were triumphant in particular. The voters delivered a powerful rejection of the establishment forces that had assembled against him and his party, from the public sector to the private sector; from one wing of the political spectrum to the other.

Before Hellstrand, the Federalist Party was a nearly unheard-of fringe party essentially run by the Kelten family, who had run it for decades, and for 3 generations. Its third leader, Gert Kelten, in particular, stressed the party's radical single-issue agenda: the abolition of the cantonal system and the Confederation as a whole in favor of a federal republic, during a point in time when Vallanders became more and more angry at a dual-hung legislature and a stagnating economy.

However, in November of 2014, Kelten became caught up in a sexual harassment scandal that endangered his and his family's leadership- and rocketed his party to national news. It was at this point that, during the chaos engulfing the party, that Hellstrand first registered as a member. His star power and his brief career as a lobbyist propelled him to the upper echelons of the party relatively quickly, and just months before the midterms, Hellstrand was elected Leader of the Federalist Party with 88% of the vote.

What followed was a massive effort by Hellstrand to transform the party from a fringe federalist movement into a force appealing to Vallanders everywhere, galvanizing a largely overlooked coalition of mostly blue-collar and middle-class voters who managed to swing cantons that had been reliably in the camp of much more established parties for decades.

In the 2015 midterms, the Federalists managed to break into the Vårtinget with 29 seats, but were still considered fringe by political pundits and the three major parties alike, as well as much of the public. However, that wasn't enough for Hellstrand, and for 4 years, from 2015 to 2019, the Federalists ceaselessly criticized government division and called for strong action, while slowly but surely mobilizing grassroots campaign efforts.

Erna Hareide and her husband Rasmus, two 32-year-old newlyweds, walked out of a polling station in Vikstad on Friday and said they had cast their votes for Hellstrand and his party, despite usually voting for the CDP. Their comments suggested that Hellstrand's longstanding grassroots efforts had paid off, and they weren't alone.

Voters, as the results show us, were willing to take a gamble for change, and gave the Federalists 340 seats in the Vårtinget, compared to 184 for the Messianist Democrats and 163 for the CDP. Meanwhile, the Centrist Union, previously the largest political party in the country, was eviscerated, and is now the smallest with 46 seats. In the Lånsevar, 60 seats went to the Federalists, whereas 28 went to the Messianist Democrats, 24 to the CDP, and 12 to the Centrists.

While the Federalists were not able to gain an absolute majority, they were able to gain a simple majority- a tool Hellstrand can use to appoint a Federal Council with a Federalist majority. The Federalists also performed a number of feats that, to many political pundits and pollsters, seemed impossible. By taking Halsen, they performed the rare Skjednak- a political term meaning "cutting the neck", referring to the Litefjord; where the traditionally Centrist strongholds in the Litefjordstad region and the Outer Plains region are not connected by a fully Centrist-controlled Litefjord region.

More importantly, though, the Federalists stole the South from the Messianist Democrats, who have traditionally held the region, just as the CDP have traditionally held the North and the Centrists the West. The Messianist Democrats were, however, able to compensate for this by winning over many suburban voters, as well as through the personal charisma of Lotte Jensen, their leader.

Due to these factors, Jensen had become the primary opposing force to the rise of the Federalists, and the Messianist Democrats, though they had lost the South, made significant gains in the North, flipping districts and cantons previously held by both the CDP and the Centrists. However, as a consequence for Never-Hellstranders, the results have yielded no united opposition to the Federalists in the Mensedag. The Messianist Democrats and CDP, though united in their disdain for Hellstrand, are fundamentally center-right and center-left parties respectively.

This gives Hellstrand and the Federalist Party a larger advantage, and makes their success story all the more fascinating, whether you support or dislike the Federalists' agenda. However, only time will tell what this new party and its firebrand leader will be able to do, and whether they will be able to deliver on their campaign promises to cut the power of the big banks, get Valland more involved in the international community, bring in new jobs, and bolster the economy.

In short, though the campaign- one of the most brutal in Valland's history- is finally over, a new political era has dawned. After years of waiting and tireless campaigning, the voters have put the Federalists in power; and time will tell if they are able to, as their mantra states, Set Valland Forward Again.

It is with great joy that we announce the breaking news that the Arc-Wonderess is expected to recover! God has truly been with him. Some shrapnel was said to be unremovable from his hip, but it will continue to be monitored for evidence of further danger. The prognosis shows that he will be able to return to his responsibilities in a month's time with a gradual return to normalcy at that point. This is truly a time of celebration for all of Sutherland...

A few moments ago, news cycles in the Kingdom of McMasterdonia began reporting on a bombing that occurred in Caspius. The Queen Mother, Amira was taking part in a parade preceding the coming coronation of the future McMasterdonian king. Approximately 14 minutes into the parade, four distinguishable pipe bombs detonated on and around the float transporting the Queen Mother. Our High Chief's well-chosen alliance with Norsia and other friendly nations has begun to bear fruit, Mining installations constructed with foreign aid are seeing a rising number of permanent settlements spring up around them. Workers are typically poorer bondsmen who are drawn to the towns by the promise of subsistence and modern conveniences, currently more then a dozen such settlements dot the steppe, located close to the mining installations that employ their residents, most are little more then Yurts and Shacks for the moment, but more permanent structures are being added every day!
