Added. After getting tired of making a table, and sorting out those pesky numbers, Sil Dorsett kindly put all the cities into an excel file. Now, one can download the file to see every city, by population, city name, nation name, and by percentage!

Download link in the OP. Also, new application for anyone wishing to add a city; one far easier than before!

is name change possible? i would like to change the name Haesu (the capital city of Taiyochi) that's already been in the spreadsheet to Formosa, thanks!

NationStates stats are not RP stats. 2.062 billion in 6 cities is unfeasible. Denied.

Nebula's cities are to be added in a bit.

I'm very sorry. I just divided Sunto population in my most populated cities. Really, not so much population are in there. Maybe I must substitute M for m and all is set. Sunto is a small colony near coast with a few islands.

I regret the mistake and I beg your pardon.

Being a pedant here (when am I not?) but can you use the format in the OP please; don't copy it from comments. Especially as the format was changed recently. This makes it slightly irritating to fish out the data. I'll add it when the format is corrected.

ABC, that figure does not add up. I do not believe that you have 795+ million in your nation; NationStates statistics do not apply to Roleplay, or else I'd have a population of 4.9 billion. Also, a city of almost 46 million is basically unfeasible. Sorry!

Otherwise, the other cities and changes are accepted, to be added.

Notably, due to restrictions on nation size in the Map Claims thread, as well as the Population Megathread, a population above 300 million is prohibited.

Updated to a more viable amount.

Still not a reasonable figure.

With 23.57 million counting for 12.73%, your population would be 185 million. This gives you a density of 1000+ people per square kilometre, which is ridiculously unfeasible. I would tone down that figure; bring it to something like a quarter of the current figure, if you intend to be developed.

May I suggest joining the TNP RP Discord server, so you can get assistance in making a reasonable figure?

Xen... ABC could technically get away with a population of 185 million. Having said that, it would be a nation full of problems and not very well developed. The best real world example is Bangladesh which has a population density of 1,319/km2. So it's not totally unreasonable but it is an insanely high population density.

Anyways, a little more about Bangladesh:
Bangladesh is one of the world's most densely populated countries, with its people crammed into a delta of rivers that empties into the Bay of Bengal. Poverty is deep and widespread, but Bangladesh has in recent years reduced population growth and improved health and education.

It's still going to depend on who wins the claim to that island. Right now, it's in the cartography team's hands. If ABC does get that island the Bangladesh example I feel would be valid, as long as all the problems come with it.

Edit - Addressing the post below: Valid point. The island has about 15% more land.

Do take into account that his claimed area I *believe* is very much so larger than Bangladesh's. It becomes more and more unfeasible to sustain a population density that large across a large land area.

Hoo boy, Mod hat on. Let's clear up some things. General reminder: NationStates stats are in no way used in TNPRP, as a general guideline.

Mhazi: There is no way you can fit ~300 million people into any reasonably sized claim without serious overcrowding issues. Please make a map claim as well, as I don't see a claim from you.

Strombolia: 370 million? Seriously? See my comment towards Mhazi.

KaNa29: 500 million is a no go, see the above two responses.
