For all who care, I have been pondering this since about mid-July, and I've come to the realization that I am very interested in serving this region to the best of my abilities, and for the record, will be the first one to officially announce my candidacy for WA Delegate. While this is not my platform thread, I just wanted to let everyone know that I am an option, and will be releasing more information come September 1. I will be changing my signature to be more orange (you'll see why), and you are free to ask any questions, however, I suggest you wait until my platform comes out to learn more about my plans. I've gotten most of it done, so it should be a few more days to finish it, proofread it, and post it just in time for the election. I hope to have a successful race. Vote Bootsie!

It will certainly be an interesting race. I can't wait to see your platform.

Just out of curiosity, do you plan to campaign with anyone for Vice Delegate?

Have I planned to campaign with a Vice Delegate candidate? No. Then again, no one has even announced candidacy in that race. I don't believe that there is any SC member I don't get along with (as they usually take the VD seat) and will probably end up throwing my support somewhere in the election.

Fair enough. Thanks for answering my question.

It is good to see you running Bootsie. In a democracy, it is necessary to have a wide pool of candidates, voters, and participants. Good luck and I do look forward to seeing your campaign soon, to see what you stand for.

Thanks Tomb. I should have it out soon.
Andrew:
Good luck :D
Our conversation earlier in the year inspired this. I don't know if you meant I'd make a great Delegate, but hey, how bad could I be? :P

Thxs! :D That was my artistic intention. I had a lot of fun with the logo. XD

HAng on. I thought Silly String had already been elected, by acclamatio.

You acclaimed a friend of SillyStrings to be the Empress of the North Pacific, but SillyString herself has not been elected Delegate by acclamation or otherwise.

The P.A.C has simply endorsed her and is encouraging her to run. But it's pleasing to know that you've noticed, and clearly feel she is going to have a strong showing in the election.

Nice work Syrixia, you're getting quite good at all the image editing and the like. Keep up the good work.

Bootsie, do you think your time as MoC has been a success? And how do you think it has helped you prepare to run for Delegate?

Success: The accomplishment of an aim or purpose.

Yes, I do believe I've had a successful term as Ministry of Communications. I'm very sad that an issue could never have come out this term, but I'm glad I had this experience being on the Cabinet. I believe that with working alongside both Lord Ravenclaw (who, FYI, kills at his job of MoFA) and Andrew (booya!), I've really learned what it means to work as a team, and make decisions that not only affect me, but affect average citizens. This is why, when thinking of my campaign color, out of all of the rainbow, I chose orange, representing the citizens. Because, through this campaign as Delegate, it is not only about me, but how you can use me as a vessel, to grow The North Pacific, and look forward to the future. Thank you, McM, for your question.

Hey Cronaal, think we should try to rally Sanguine support for this?
And this is why I really don't like house and political parties.
