Spring Forward

Just a reminder that for those who live in the United States and Canada (in RL, of course), daylight savings time starts on Saturday night/Sunday morning at 2:00 a.m. local standard time, making it 3:00 a.m. local daylight savings time. There are a couple of areas in the U.S. that don't join in (such as a small area of Indiana and Arizona, as I recall) but for the vast majority it is time to "spring forward."

I love Daylight Savings time. I once saw a court case dismissed because a police officer entered the time of 2:30 am on charges that occurred on the morning of the time change. The defendant plead not guilty and the case was dismissed because 2:30 am did not occur on the date in question and hence the policeman was in material error in his charges. (it was a minor traffic ticket but the judge was sufficiently amused at the defense's strategy and dismissed the case much to the amusement of all).
