So, your new to the region and a lil lost and don't know where to get active. No worries...this thread will help you decide what sections of government are best suited for you to participate in.

Please keep the TNP Yellow Pages thread handy. It will guide you through the many important threads in the forum. Please take some time to read the constitution...or at least skim through it and keep the URL handy. A guide should be available soon.

The first thing you should do is join the Regional Assembly or get Citizenship Access and then join the NPRA. Understand that many government positions require you to be an RA Member. As an RA member your rights as a citizen are protected by the constitution and the officials who have sworn to uphold it. An RA member apply for a cabinet position or deputy position in the government. If you're interested, you can sign up for either HERE (Click me).

The Diplomatic Corps are ambassadors from the region that represent us throughout NS. You get to see the rest of the NS world and meet influential members of the game. If your sociable, smart and enjoy seeing the world, the Dip Corps are for you.

You can sign up here:

Perhaps your a very political minded player and would rather get active in our government. Then a Cabinet Level position or Deputy position is for you. These positions are selected by the Delegate every three calendar months in the months of February, May, August, and November, or when there is a Vacancy.

Like Real Life, it is best to work your way up the chain of government before deciding to jump into a cabinet level position. We are always in need of good deputies who want to learn how each position works. By joining the NPRA, you can demonstrate your skills and commitment.

It is suggested that newer members of the region should not run for Security Positions in the government such as, Delegate or Vice Delegate. These positions require a great amount of trust and knowledge about the past and present happening of the region. The constitution has certain requirements to run for these positions.

The Speaker of the Regional Assembly is not a cabinet level position, but is a very important part of the government. This position heads the legislative body of the region in its day to day affairs.

If you have any questions feel free to ask here or contact any of our Ministers. Now go, participate, get active and Thank You for taking the time to join the forum!!
