Sucatraps - Banned for TGing the following spam/unedorsement message to fellow TNP nations

I am contacting you to inform you of a great injustice about to be perpetrated by a usurpation of the World Assembly. The current proposal up for vote in the Security Council, called "Liberate Nazi Europe", would remove the password on the target region. This region is in no need of liberation, and the entire reason for this liberation is to 'unconventionally' open the region to be exposed to invasion from its enemies. I normally do not campaign for or against proposals, but this one warrants immediate action because of the large-scale injustice taking place.
Yes; the region is a 'Nazi' region. I am not a Nazi, nor do I tolerate the horrible acts the real-life Nazis committed. But I think it is important to realize - and the author of the proposal recognizes this - that the region does not currently have an army to administer their views by force. Furthermore, it is plain that this proposal is an attempt to attack others purely based on the way they think; it is discrimination. And even if it was plain the region planned to build an army and make attacks, destroying their region will only add fuel to the fire, and would only be an indication we are willing to stoop to their level.
Please. Help take action and stand on the side of both justice and mercy. If you have voted for this resolution, please change your vote to 'against'. Your regional delegate has voted for this proposal. I am sure you agree with him on most other votes, but I urge you to withdraw your endorsement of him and ask that he votes 'against' the proposal before you re-endorse him: as long as you are endorsing him, he has one more vote helping to pass this unjust legislation.
If you have any questions, feel free to telegram me.
Thanks,
The Republic of Sucatraps

He was spamming and he moved in from The Pacific to do so, not to mention that he's a security threat by attempting to incite nations to unendorse the delegate. He has the right to appeal the ban if he so chooses.

MikesHope - Banned for RH spam
Land filled with People -Banned for RH spam
I'm more concerned with this ban. You have the legal authority to ban nations for NationStates rules violations, but I question whether or not Land filled with People actually spammed the Regional Happenings. Did you take a screen shot or report the rules violation to the moderators? And why was the ban on MikesHope for the same alleged offense lifted but the ban on LfwP, a foreign envoy to TNP, left in place? Nothing to do with LWU's war against TITO, I hope?

:agree:

The ban on MikesHope's was lifted because he promised not to spam the RH any more, or at least while I am delegate is what he specifically said, although you will note his other spamming puppets are still banned.

No one else who has been banned have either asked to have their nation removed or apologized for their offending actions.

Finally, those other nations banned for RH violations were banned simply for violating the in-place policy by, repeatedly, moving in and out of various feeders, including TNP, for seemingly no other reason than to be annoying or to advertise their region's in a way that circumvented the No RMB spam policy I put in place.

I am sorry if most of those nations come from the XKI, but the policy is clearly listed in the WFE, in red bold letters to boot. Perhaps you should be asking XKI why they feel the need to run nation after nation though our region for no discernible purpose other than to advertise for XKI rather than question my integrity off the bat. At least give me the benefit of the doubt.

If I were really up to some nefarious intentions, after all, wouldn't you think I would be trying to hide my actions rather than post them here for all to see and question? ^_^

Oh and, as always, those nations have the legal right to seek an appeal of the ban in the Court of TNP...or, you know, they could just apologize and promise not to do it again. Whatever works.

If you don't want TITO nations to move through TNP to and from other regions you could've just asked, Blue Wolf. They've been doing that for years without any trouble, and it has nothing to do with advertising our region. Would be a pretty ineffective way to do it anyway (does anyone actually advertise their region that way?). 10ki has never advertised on RMBs, so I'm not sure how you think Land was circumventing your advertising policy by doing something our people have been doing for ages without any problems.

Btw. Land's our ambassador to TNP. Does the banning mean that he's not welcome in TNP anymore?

Also, just so I'm clear on this; moving in and out of TNP ingame is banned? Wouldn't want to get any of my nations kicked. ;)

If Blue Wolf wants to ban Govindia for being Govindia, at least have the honesty to say so instead of using laughable excuses.

That a reason, not an excuse. Gov spammed that message to several nations, including myself, over and over again. When he did not get the attention he wanted, he posted it on the RMB.

Clear cut case of spam.

If I might say so, that is not why you said you'd banned him - you claimed he had committed RMB spam. Additionally, may I please have proof of this supposed TG spam?

Out of curiosity why are you so interested in this?

Hmmmm, yes. But you're probably just bored or have a different ideology or agenda, so basically go #$%& yourself, that's why.

Being flippant is much more immediately satisfying than running to the courts. :)

It's not illegal if its for Spam, which I have determined it to be. The banned member is entitled to an appeal, in which both sides will present their case and the Court will rule. If the Court rules in favor of the Delegate, the ban stand, if they rule in favor of banned, their nation is unbanned. If the banned nation decides not to file an appeal, well, that's all on them.

You don't like it, you can put me up for a Recall.

Yes Blue Wolf, we are all aware that you know the procedure and seem to treat it with a smirking disdain. That's why I said being flippant was more immediately satisfying than running to the courts, because I know that is your ultimate answer to any criticism of your governance. Just because you recognize the inability of the court to prosecute, does not mean you are beyond the reach of public opinion. Something to think about if you want to not get your butt handed to you in the next delegate election. :)

I did this with McMaster a few elections ago. Seems everyone forgot. No, I know I am not a very moderate candidate, and Defenders will line up around the block to vote against me. So they voted for Jamie, and I like Jamie, and I know he will reflect my viewpoints well.

Why fight the system when I can get it to work for me?

4 minutes ago: Jamie Anumia ejected and banned The Federal Republic of Eustrovia from The North Pacific.

I can confirm informally that the Security Council has been concerned that B Wolf is a security threat for some time now, and following his disingenuous & uncooperative communications and endorsement surfing activities believe he presents a clear and present danger.

I thought the same thing with B Wolf, which is why I un-endorsed him. Endo swapping is one thing, but B Wolf was accumulating endos rapidly and clearly had no ties to TNP.

Regarding Love Song, the situation is different from that of B Wolf. The SC is in communication with him and he has agreed to keep his endorsement level in check. With the banning of B Wolf, the Delegate was acting on the advice of the SC. If we feel the same action regarding Love Song is warranted, we will be recommending it.
