Might I suggest a tougher crackdown? Word seems to have gotten round, it's in the WFE, how about one shot across the bow for hapless newbies like our friend here (admittedly, I just don't like Tories), then a full blast from the bancannon(tm) the second time?
 
Well, what we have been doing is working. I have seen recruiters who just won't change the length of their ad simply avoid TNP.

Most recruiters come and go so only a ban really does anything.

How about any ads that go over 18 lines get a swift kick?

I'd say I'm being...cautious with my replies. My original messages were much more abrasive and threatening. I decided against a jab and left it as a simple...your not important enough for me to argue the issue. I'd rather not get us into further arguments simply because they may take offense to my words.

I am not changing my position and only the RA or MODS can change our current ad spam rules. So in that respect I am being firm. Any of their recruiters violate again (unless they made a mistake and apologize immediately as others have done in the past) they will be sent to Hotel Kandarin on the express bus to TRR.

**To preserve the Regional Message Board (RMB) of The North Pacific as a venue of communication for native citizens, yet at the same time understanding game-rules on the permission of foreign advertising in the feeders, the Delegate of The North Pacific enacts as follows:

1) The maximum number of lines permitted in an advertisement shall be 10 lines.**

Also, the MODS have ruled on this issue a long time ago...so be my guest and take it up with them.  They were the ones who supported and upheld our rights to regulate the ads.

So, I believe we are abiding by the game play rules.  You also went more than 1 or 2 lines over if I recall.  I usually am such a nice guy that I ignore 11 or 12 line violations if its just a name or a thank you at the end (depending on the rest of the content in the message). You may want to check your statements before replying.  Next time anyone in your region makes a crack about our forum and it's posts...it won't be WA's or politicians you will have to deal with.  I will let your comments slide because I am in a good mood.  I hope members in our region are in a similar mood when they read your comments.

New Mexico raid manipulated by mods

Troopers online at update right now witnessed perhaps the most disgraceful moderator manipulation seen in recent times when the endorsement of a trooper failed to be registered on the DEN point in New Mexico.

Apache County arrived in New Mexico 10 minutes prior to update and endorsed the point:

41 minutes ago: Chucky NotNorris was endorsed by The Disputed Territories of Apache County.

But even now after the region has updated, our endorsement has not been registered:

Endorsements Received: 5 (Stars and strip3s, Peaceful Times, Byrdss, Grain Belt Beer, Bent up Bob)

This is clearly moderator manipulation and not a glitch, indeed one other trooper with a nation less than ten days old attempted to admit his nation into the WA and was informed that has application has expired, when he'd successfully applied to the WA and received the positive confirmation within the last week.

And once again it appears that moderators are working in conjunction with defenders, as the defender who arrived had his endorsement applied to the sitting delegates total.

Had defenders arrived prior to update and won the region fairly and squarely, then we'd be happy with that and indeed, we prefer a competition and challenge.

But this sort of disgraceful manipulation of DEN raids that moderators were known for in the past (but that we haven't seen in a while) is completely unacceptable and far outwith the spirit of the rules.

Interested nations can confirm these facts by checking the endorsements on the sitting delegate and the endorsements on the DEN point nation, Chucky NotNorris.

Troopers have screen shots of the manipulation and these will shortly be available on the DEN forum. Moderators must cease and desist interfering and manipulating game outcomes. A formal protest will be lodged with the game creator and whoever was involved needs their ass kicked and to be stripped of moderator status.

I'm getting annoyed with DEN posting their egotistical, overdramatic news blogs on our RMB as well as others. Personally I would like them to get warned for this, it's ugly, annoying, and takes up space -- and I WILL argue that this constitutes as adspam because it draws attention to DEN. It's not news it's bullshit propaganda.

In regards to the Den ad...that is not a recruitment message and is rather more informative. I really have no problems with that as it is entertaining and is not done on a daily basis.

But if it bothers u this much....gain enough support to banject their advertisers and I will make it so (with approval from the elected delegate of course).
