Elections!
On September 10th, Merciam held its regional elections for Senate, Princeps Consul, and Vice consul.
The winners for Merciam's 2nd Senate are;

Senator Sarah Bread of Arnavaz
Senator Kassel Lothair of Mondraum
Senator Phoenix of Rap Devil
The winners for Merciam's Princeps Consul and Vice consul, respectively, are;
Princeps Consul A.C. Alex of East Chimore
Princeps Consort Leo Arch of Isaluciu
These citizens of Merciam shall hold office for the next two months!
What's going on?
○ With the election of a new government comes new appointees and agendas. You can find the Princep Consul's opening address here.
○ Merciam recently established the Collegia Culturare, the home for Merciam's cultural and roleplay ongoings! The new Senate is in the midst of confirming a Consul Cultura to head this Collegia, so make sure to keep an eye out for an invite for upcoming inter-regional activities!
○ Merciam's 1st Senate has formally repealed the Tiber Protocol, taking Merciam out of The Free Bloc. Please see the Vice Consul's Statement for further information on the region's decision to withdraw from the Bloc so soon after joining.
What is Merciam?
Merciam styles itself as a Roman region, with a passionate love for the vision of the Roman Republic and the Roman Empire. Our region is a constitutional Monarchy, with the power of the region put into the Citizen's hands!
We have four branches of government;
○ The Imperium with the Emperor and Princeps Coronam,
○ The Consulship with the Princeps Consul, Vice Consul, and Consuls of the Collegium,
○ The Senate, with the Princeps Senatus and Senators, and
○ The Imperial Court, with the Princeps Judex and Judices.
