Earlier today Minister Christina Havenford, the Minister for maritime activity and member of the Conservative party attended and opened the port of the town of Averton in her home constituency after it's long awaited regeneration from decades of being poorly maintained had finally been completed. This regeneration has been part of the conservative governments "Strong Coast" program that was started by the Conservatives in their last term of power as part of their promises to Ulstomes Coastal communities.

When asked about the progress in regards to the success of program Minister Havenford had this to say *Cuts to recording* "I think its an absolutely wonderful program that gives back so much to our coastal communities, these are people who have grown up here and given so much to our nation in the past, and it's areas such as the port here as in many other coastal communities that aren't extraordinarily large ports where tons upon tons of goods come and go every day that have been neglected by past governments. What me and the conservatives have said with the "Strong Coast" Program, its time to give something back and revive our neglected coastal communities!"

The people of Averton, many who are employed either here in the docks or are somehow involved in the area's fishing industry have echo'd the praise of the project much like Minister Havenford, however many have expressed concerns that now that the government has made their investment and that they have regenerated the dock, that they are concerned that they will be neglected by future governments and that their communities will suffer.

The people cheered in the streets as General Ardan came out of tank with the nation's flag waving in the wind. His tank stopped and gave the following speech: "I, General Ardan of the Imperial Voninstein Military, promise to the fatherland and the people that no nation will have an easy time with us! I will lead our nation to great victory and preservation. The great Voninstein will never fall to any foreign power because Vonsteins are the greatest race to ever live. Breaking News: Guslant Queen Has Passed Away

It is with great sorrow that we announce that Her Majesty, Queen Leah, the Jewel of Guslantis, has passed away unexpectedly this evening. After a few weeks in the hospital with heart issues, the Queen was released and was expected to make a full recovery. Today at around six in the afternoon, the Queen suffered a heart attack, and was quickly rushed to the hospital where she quickly and painlessly passed at 7:15PM. She was only 43.

Leah joins her father Leo Charles, who was a businessman from Augustus Town, and her sister, Princess Lily, who was a pop star in Hogton. She will live on through her mother, Margaret, who is currently residing in the family’s estate in Augustus Town.

Bearing no children, Guslant law requires the Crown to move to the closest relative of the Jewel. Marcus Charles, Leah’s brother and only living sibling, will ascend to the throne in his sister’s place.

Much like his sister, Marcus has spent many years in the political sphere, and has vowed to strengthen the bonds created and maintained by Leah. At the age of 31, Marcus was the Archduke of Augustus Town and graduated as top of his class at the Boreaux Academy in Miragea. He is a huge fan of the arts, though technology is another one of his loves. His first act as King was to announce a week of mourning for his sister, who will have a ceremony before being buried in the Guslantis National Cemetary.

Marcus has announced his intention to keep his birth name as he ascends the throne, so he will be coronated as His Majesty King Marcus, the Gem of Guslantis.

Statement on Recent Events in the Republic of Krevt​

It saddens the Empire to hear of the events that have transpired following an attempted assassination of Makhael Chirkozki, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Krevt. Though we cannot condone and will always condemn acts such as what whomever is responsible for this attempt intended, neither can we condone how the perpetrator has consequently been treated by the Government of Krevt.

Despite his expletive-ridden admission of guilt, the perpetrator has not been granted any form of due process, including but not limited to a trial. Rather, the perpetrator was immediately placed on death row following the admission, and the Government of Krevt plans to administer a public death penalty to him.

This choice by the Krevti government saddens and both heavily and deeply concerns the Empire. We believe the Republic of Krevt to be a valuable and committed ally, and are in turn just as committed to our alliance and culturo-historical brotherhood with the Krevti government and people. These recent actions have proved unfortunate to that long, storied, and amiable relationship.

Public execution, especially by methods such as the guillotine as the Krevti government intends, are a thing of the past. They are dated, brutal, and remain unfit to exist as a legitimate form of capital punishment in this day and age. We implore the Government of the Republic of Krevt to reconsider its sentence, and to not only commute it acceptably to a new sentence that falls within modern standards, but to only do so should the perpetrator be found guilty in a court of law.

Until and unless the Government of the Republic of Krevt issues a full apology, removes the perpetrator's sentence, and allows the perpetrator a fair and speedy trial, the Empire can and must act. At the earliest available opportunity, the Empire will be introducing a motion within the Commonwealth Council to suspend the Commonwealth membership of the Republic of Krevt until these demands are met.

We implore the Krevti government to consider ethical standards, standards of decency, and standards of due process; and to seriously reconsider its decisions in relation to the perpetrator.

Liberal leader proposes name change

In some bizarre news today, opposition leader Sophia Issiana has proposed that Highton change its constitutional name from the Crowned Republic of Highton to the Crowned Republic of Highton & Aleman stating that “there are over three times as many Alemans in our great nation as there are Fenixians. Adding ‘Aleman’ to our constitutional name allow for the representation of the whole people in our title”. Conservative Speaker James Vard has replied stating that “the name Highton symbolizes all of the Hightonian people. Having a double name implies a divided people while we are far from that. We are one nation!” This proposal has high support in Aleman’s cities of Trier and Glöckenkirchen, but not much else. There are rumors that Issiana is considering running for governor of Aleman in 2020 and this is a way of drumming up support in the largest state. Before the 1949-51 constitution, the nation was officially known as “the United Principality of Highton and Aleman”. The legislature is set to vote on the proposal on December 16th, two weeks from today.

Article 4.1- Amending the Constitution

1. To amend this Constitution, two thirds of the people of the Crowned Republic must approve
of the Amendment via a referendum.
2. In order for a referendum to take place, a simple majority is required in both bodies of the
Legislature.
3. Referendums shall take place on the following 1st of August after both bodies have approved
the Amendment, unless that date falls on a Sunday.
4. If the referendum passes by a two thirds majority, the Amendment will come into action upon
the 5th of September following the referendum.
5. A Constitutional Convention may be held via a Referendum following and two thirds majority
vote in both Bodies of the Legislature.

In a near unanimous decision by the Stortinget on Monday morning, the Fascist War reparation debt that is owed by Andrenne was voted to be completely forgiven. The debt was originally almost 6 trillion drams, of which Andrenne has paid almost 60% of. The Stortinget measure, promoted by parliamentarian Johan Vilenstad (NUP-Gojannesstad IV), passed with over 90% of the vote, receiving broad support from both main parties. Some more extreme factions, such as the Socialist Front and Nationalist Party have criticized the bill, such as Socialist Front vice chairwoman Nadja Riksberg, who called it "fascist apologia" and claimed "collusion with Third Imperyk sympathizers." Supporters of both these factions organized protests in front of the Landesdag and Andrennian Embassy, but members of the Gojannesstad Police had to break up the protests after a member of the Nationalist Party threw a rock at the window of the Andrennian Embassy, and assaulted a member of the Riot Police Squadron with a broomstick.

90 Cars piled up on Purna-Kanpur Expressway ; 18 dead!
A shocking tragedy occured in Purna City's newly inaugrated expressway on Wednesday 4th December 2018 at 03:00 AM IST when a dense fog across the North Krevt was experienced by citizens. Almost 90 Cars moving at speeds above 120Km/h piled up just 120Km West section of the Expressway.

The Expressway was inaugrated in November by Prime Minister Chandravishwa Maurya i. The Highways Authority Of Krevt and Aura Corporation had jointly built the expressway. The Expressway was announced to be kept toll-free to ensure accessibility of expressway to the Krevtis. The Accident occured due to two reasons, Dense Fog and Unmanned Barricading. Yes, Unmanned Barricading was left by a Purna City Police officer. However, he forgot to call for a shift and went to Patrolling in Electron. The Police Administration has suspended the officer.

The families have been given 60,000 NSD worth compensation for losses incurred.

Ministry of Commerce Launches International Lawsuit Against Krevti Corporations​

The Ministry of Commerce announced today that it filed a lawsuit against Krevti corporations ON67 Inc. and Potential Solutions Inc., seeking an injunction to compel the companies to provide accurate and honest information in advertisements within the Principality. A statement written by Minister Christophe Trintaudon accused ON67 and Potential Solutions of committing fraud and deception regarding their shipping practices and production rates, citing Potential Solutions's advertisement of one billion automobiles per container and ON67's one billion articles of clothing per container and calling the advertisements "unbelievable and unsustainable." The statement goes on to point out that "... the advertisements ignore the physical impossibility of fitting one billion automobiles into a standard shipping container (or even an entire shipping vessel) and the improbability of maintaining the production rates necessary to sell more than one of the advertised units."

The matter is now in the hands of the Principality Court who must determine how the lawsuit can even proceed given that the court lacks the authority to subpoena the principal officers since they reside outside of the Principality.

Disaster for Coweta Motorsport at Colseau Prix Electrique!​

Engineers for Coweta Motorsport and parent company Aventure Automotive will be hard at work over the next month to correct what they're calling a critical defect in the battery management system of their race cars. At the Colseau Prix Electrique, two of their cars suffered a complete loss of electrical power, resulting in a double retirement for the team.

Harper-Valera driver Matthieu Bardin became the beneficiary of Coweta's second retirement on lap 42 and went on to win the event. Last race's winner Mathis Parmentier retains his championship lead with his 2nd place finish.

COSONIA, XENTHERIDA— The Crowned Republic of Highton has been admitted as a full member of the Pan Gotic Union following a 6-2 vote last night. Andrenne, Goyanes, Prydania, Vestrugat, Xentherida, and Yalkan voted in favor, while Ilia and Malor-Kanada opposed the admission. Gotmark and Valland opted to abstain from voting. It was a close vote, as a 3/4 majority is required for admission, but the government is confident that Highton will have much to contribute to the Union. Although not yet official, Lucie Marquette seems to be tailor made to be Highton’s delegate to the PGU. Marquette had previously been Highton’s head delegate to the now-defunct Phoenix Union and was sent to speak at the PGU last month on behalf of Highton to request admission. Ms. Marquette will have little time to prepare, however, as there will be a crucial vote for chancellor of the Union coming soon. After A very very very bad defeat at Jack Field, The Krevti Football Team's coach was really upset with the team's goalkeeper Malay Sazaria and Centre Forward Chalap Thakur which is also the team's captain.
Yesterday when Krevt lost against Treshmania with 1-2, Coach has decided to increase Training and Practice hours from 8 to 14 hrs.

Goalkeeper faced criticism from most Krevti Football fans for taking the Treshmanian team lightly resulting in 2 goals from their side which could have been very easily prevented.

The coach has cancelled hangouts for team members and has asked to concentrate only on practice, as the next match is against Lotion Empire.
Coach has said to not take the Lotion Empire lightly because after their yesterday's defeat against Malta, they'll surely try their best as we are doing to overcome the loopholes they have.

Captain has a lot of pressure because if this time he does not perform good , he will surely lose captaincy.

After much deliberation, United Dynamics Land Systems has just revealed the design for a multi-purpose fighting vehicle, known as the Multi-role Tactical Assault Vehicle, or MTAV, that will supplement the Mondic military's ground forces and will allow ground forces to rapidly deploy and assist in combat operations in the near future.

This variant of the MTAV is equipped with a fully automated .50 caliber machine gun, but there will be many other variants, such as payload carrier, missile carrier, utility, and even an ambulance variant that comes with a medical trailer for treating injured soldiers on the battlefield

The Mondic military has already invested $4,000,000,000 into the platform, $185,000,000 was spent on developing the platform. The rest has been invested into acquiring 8,800 MTAVs at $433,540/unit under medium production conditions.

The Military plans on investing another $4,850,000,000 into acquiring 9,700 more MTAVs by 2021 at a cost of $500,000/unit under high production conditions.

The Mondic military plans on using the MTAVs as the main rapid response infantry support vehicles for the Army, due to the flexibility and speed (110km/hr) of the MTAVs. The Army is so far extremely satisfied with the specifications and performance of the MTAVs.

Thomas Begins Building Horizon City, Planned to Open in Spring 2019

The multinational technological giant, Thomas, announced at its latest press event that it was building what CEO Felicia Scott referred to as "our new headquarters and a prototype city of tomorrow" that will be housed in the newly-created province of Aeaea, which will be carved out of the province of Rosar. Thomas appears to be wasting no time in beginning construction on many of the buildings that will be the first in Horizon City. GNN sat down with Hachiro Yamasaki, Thomas’ Regional Development Supervisor for the latest.

"We plan to have all of our work complete to allow the first phase of residents to begin moving in by Spring 2019, around the anniversary of the Azuls in March. We have tasked Ryo Koizumi with serving as Horizon City Manager during its construction, and will serve as Acting Governor of Aeaea until one can officially be elected by the new residents. Some of the first things residents can enjoy besides their housing will be some high-end restaurants, a library, parks, and our campus headquarters, which will be home to our new largest store, Thomas Horizon City, inspired by Thomas Beaconsfield. We’re looking to have Horizon Tower complete, as well as the renovated Worley Research Center, in time for the city’s grand opening. Overall, a lot of hard work, but we know it’ll be worth it. Keep your eye out for an announcement from us early next year, where we’ll share more about housing prices and open applications for Phase One residents."

Kovo Corp., ON67 And Aeromoto's jointly built ALAH to roar in the skies!

After 5 months, the wait is over. The Kovo Corporation and Aermoto's joint Aerospace-Development Wing has unveiled what the Krevti People are calling "The New Pterodactyl of Krevti Armed Forces"
The project was initially being carried out by The Govt. Run KAA (Krevti Aerospace Agency). However due to lack of funds, the project was up for bid to other companies who according to the terms would do joint collaboration.
The bid was won by Aeromoto. The company chose Kovo and ON67 Inc. For development of this helicopter.

The Helicopter has been built at a cost of 2million NSDs. The full advanced units will be directly handed over to the Armed Forces and then will be up for Sale at Aermoto's section in the Great Krevti Marketplace.

HSA, BAC agree on date for Adler-1 launch

EREOS, BENOLIA — The Highton Space Agency has set in stone a date for the first and most difficult mission to the Adler Space Station, one of the largest outposts in LEO (Low Eras Orbit). The launch will take place on January 6th, just under a month from now. An exact date for the launch had not been set yet, raising concerns over whether the the mission would go ahead or not. An alternate date, January 12th, has been chosen in the case of unfavorable weather conditions. The 6 person crew will be comprised of five Hightonians and one Benolia astronaut. The first mission will last 7 weeks, when 4 members of the crew will return and be replaced by four other astronauts. After Adler-3, missions will last 3 months with two members of the crew to remain on board for the following mission.

KARTHIED-Following weeks of debate the Landesgrad officially voted to increase the size and budget of the military. By 2020 they hope to have an increased presence with active military doubling from its current size by 2025.

The vote was closely split throughout the debates but many new, younger nobles, voted in support of the measure, swinging the vote away from established policy. The military increase comes with increased calls for a bigger role in Eras at large, with the younger generation being opposed to the traditional noninterventionist policies that have stood over a hundred years since the reign of Katharin I.

There were both celebrations and protests in numerous cities throughout the Federation, with the largest being in Karthied. The protests remained peaceful with Karthied police swiftly handling any protestors who started to become violent.

The protestors are said to have called the celebrators “Traitors” and “Syrixians” though these claims have been unsubstantiated. The Ministry of Civil Order and Protection has not yet made a statement.

More Snow, Frigid Temperatures, and Ice on the Way

As we had more into December, we see the arrival of another low pressure system from the Naesser blow in. Settleing in later this morning this will bring wet snow to most regions across north coastal Ninhundland. Greater Frankthorf could see up to 20cm of snow they the end of the week, while sleet and freezing rain warning have been put in place for coastal Nordküste including Frösthafen.

As for places farther inland and in Gränzeburg, the higher pressure ridge will mean less snowfall but a blast of arctic air, so don’t except the snow across eastern Ninhundland to melt anytime soon as nighttime temperatures could reach as low as -15° with wind chills crossing the -25° mark.

This is good news for ski season across most of Ninhundland as a different system bring heavy rain to coastal regions of Western Ninhundland and snow in inland and highland locations. However the Government of Ninhundland has issues warnings in multiple locations and another major ice storm isnt impossible. The Government advices citizens and travels to be aware of sudden weather changes and the potential of any flight or train cancelations and road closures. However due to the reliable and modern transportation network across Ninhundland things shouldn’t get too bad.

WESTFÄLISCHES, AL — Eight cities have been named as potential expansion cities for the Aplesyg National League, Highton's premier Lithonian Football competition. With the sport the second most popular in Highton, this decision will have a profound impact on the nation. When the league was founded in 1993, a heavy emphasis was put on spreading the teams out geographically and having at least one team in each state. This has allowed cities such as Pueblorixion and Rixion to host successful teams, despite the relatively small market size. Einestadt and Port Phoenix are reported leaders to get the expansion slots, with both teams already having had teams in the past (Einestadt Geld and Port Phoenix Express). The former was dissolved in 2015 after poor finances, but has maintained support in the area for a new team. The Port Phoenix Express failed to garner much support among the region's population due to the city's proximity to one the Einestadt Geld, which forced them to relocate to Victoria and become the Victoria Kings (the least successful of any ANL franchise of all time). Other cities on the list are: Bolton, Glöckenkirchen, Istago, Essen, Lincoln Park, and Czyville-Cocos. Istago and Bolton would certainly be interesting choices considering that neither have a professional team in any league, while Lincoln Park and Czyville-Cocos are perhaps too small markets to garner a team. It is almost certain that at least one of the new expansion teams will be from Aleman, and the idea of Glöckenkirchen or Essen are certainly intriguing ideas.

Director of Justice Arzanin and Viceroy Havlik of Lusovo assassinated!​

Following a series of apparent high profile: high visibility assassinations of the Director of Justice, and the Viceroy of Lusovo outside their places of work. Queen Alycia signed a long awaited Royal Decree that had been anticipated for decades. This Royal Decree mandating the absolute destruction of the Norsian Mafia.
The triggermen of these brutal killings have already been arrested, and their deep affiliation and positions as top enforcers to the Norsian Mafia has been discovered. We will report more on that as the story develops.

The Queen during the decree signing had sadness in her voice and anger in her eyes as she gave a short speech praising Viceroy Havlik as a close friend and a die hard supporter of her beliefs and platform. stating that neither the Viceroy or the Director deserved to be butchered like animals.

At the end of her address he went on to state:

The Decree reads more as a written War Declaration than a traditional Royal Decree. one of its key points is it gives the police and military state mandate to conduct search warrants and other raids on any suspected and or probable Mafia holdings and assets. in fact some of these raids are already being carried out here in Lusovo.

The decree also lifts rules of engagement, their restrictions are gone, and the police, BNSI and Military Police can even leverage the full firepower of the military onto "hard targets." The mafia is no longer being treated as a criminal underground organization, it is being treated as a rebel insurgency. One our armed forces will have full intention of annihilating.

With this breaking news comes the raising of our national security level bringing it back into its red status from what seemed like a really peaceful yellow. Its red status hasn't been in effect since the end of the Civil War. due to this raised status we can expect military roadblocks and checkpoints to be set up in key areas and on major roads. if you see these checkpoints we advise that you do not try to circumnavigate them, or turn around back to where you came. if you approach these roadblocks you must go through them. and of course as always, have Identification and documentation at the ready.

the processions for Director Arzanin and Viceroy Havlik are scheduled for the Thirteenth. from now until the end of the fourteenth all flags are to fly at half mast to signal and honor their passing..

Over past few weeks the Popularity of Rightist Party has fallen by 14% after A member of Leftist Party was accused in a harassment case.The Rightist Party has declared that if this time they win the elections, the Focus will be more into the core infra- development of the country I.e from Roads to Airports and induction of World Class High Speed Rail Network with Max permissible speed of 340Km/h.
Along with Infrastructure development, the party has promised to provide Employement to every section of the society. This time's Motto of Rightist-Party is "Together We can, Build An Economy,Build a Future and Build a Nation"

The Election Polling Booths will be open for voting by 09:00AM IST on 21st December 2018 till 09:00PM IST. The booths will however be closed from 11.30pm to 5.30AM on the following days due to security reasons.

GPA Again wins 2018's December General Assembly Elections. Chandravishwa Maurya knocks Socialist And Centrist Parties again
It was yesterday when The Right Wing Rejoiced as they won more than Majority seats (340) in the Parliament after General Assembly Elections. UJF (United Janata Frontier comprising of Industrialist and Centrist Party) for the first time reached above 100 Votes (114)
The Socialist Party was able to form Govts in only 4 (Vigyankshetra , Yodhabhoomi ,Triraj and South Orekama) states due to low votes (90) as compared to GPA in 10 states! UJF formed govt in only 2 states (East Electron and Kowao).

The Govt of Krevt under GPA has initiated their first policy after Their entrance into power. The Govt has now Established the Krevti Space Research Agency and the Prime Minister himself will be the Head of the Organization.
The KSRA is expected to make its debut in space race on 25th December 2018 when The First Probe I.e Veerchandrayan will be sent into space with the help of PLV (probe launch vehicle) made by Krevt.
3 other space missions including a Manned Mission to Moon will also take place in 2019.

Modern Rail Factory Inaugurated in Purna City.
The Modern Rail Factory which was to be inaugurated in 2015 , has now been Inaugrated. This delay was caused due to Earlier Government's Nation First Then People Policies as claimed by the GPA.
The MRF will built Krevt's first High-speed Railway Coaches and Locomotives capable of achieving 320km/h
The Govt has also announced A New Ring Railway Line which will travel From Krevt's Capital Purna City and then take a whole Ring Route and passing through Each Krevti State and then return to Krevt.
The Travelling Time for Krevtis from One State to Other will be reduced by 60% and also result in low Carbon Emissions in and around the Capital.

The Modern Rail Factory will also produce Train sets for New Metro Lines that'll come up within few months in 2019 for different Cities.
