Please follow the procedures outlined in this post to cast your vote for the August 2006 General Elections.

General Voting Information:

Whichever method of voting you choose, please keep the following information in mind:

• You are welcome to abstain as many times as you wish. An abstention is treated as a vote in favor of none of the candidates, in that it will count toward the total number of ballots cast, but not toward either of the candidates' vote count.
• The winning candidates must have 50% of all ballots cast. If no clear majority is reached, a runoff will be conducted next week between the two highest candidates.
• You must be a member of the Regional Assembly before elections open in order to vote. If you think you are eligible to vote but cannot post in this topic, please let me know as soon as possible.
• You must also have a UN Member nation within The North Pacific (or on active NPA duty as approved by a member of the High Command Division) in order to vote in this election.
• Please keep to the format outlined above. Failure to do so may result in the invalidation of your ballot.
• If you would like to keep your UN nation confidential, please vote privately through the PM system.

Only ballots cast within the voting period will be accepted.

OFFTOPIC: If someone has a UN nation outside of TNP on active NPA duty, they should still be able to vote in this election. And they shouldn't have to declare it in public. I'm not sure what the Constitution says on this, but it could be vital to NPA security and defense. Feel free to split this if it should be elsewhere, or respond to me via PM

Oops - this is correct. If your UN is on active NPA duty as approved by any member of the High Command Division (i.e., Ator, Roman, myself), you may still vote in this topic.
